Callaway Resort and Gardens offers a wonderful getaway with plenty of activities for all ages. The Birds of Prey show is a must-see, and the butterfly exhibit is both beautiful and educational. The arts and crafts center is a great spot for some hands-on fun. The flower gardens at Cason’s Garden were stunning, and we enjoyed the live music and variety of vendors offering beer, drinks, and food.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the golf courses are well-maintained, and the lakes provide a relaxing setting for paddle boating. While the zip line course was closed for winter renovations during our visit, it looks like an exciting adventure for warmer months. The onsite spa and weight room also looked very nice, and we’re looking forward to enjoying those during future visits.

The cottage rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. While a few upgrades, like more pillows per bed, would make the stay even better, the cottage was a great place to unwind.

For cottage guests, offering a complimentary bicycle or two would be a nice touch to make getting around the resort even easier and more fun. It would also help create a safer atmosphere by reducing car traffic.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable. Despite a few minor suggestions, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Callaway Resort and Gardens for a memorable getaway.

Came here for a work conference. Staff was super awesome. Very friendly and patient. The grounds are beautiful. Went for a few jogs just for the view. Very well kept. Great views from the lodge 3rd floor. Would recommend for a quick weekend or a family break

My daughter and I had reservations for winter break. Unfortunately, we were scheduled to arrive the day after a very bad storm. There were trees and power lines down everywhere! We had booked our reservations through Expedia, which most hotels don't like to deal with. The lady at the front desk was honest with us when we arrived and told us that she could give us a room but we would be sitting there in the dark with nothing to do or she could cancel or reservations. When I told her we booked through Expedia, she said, "no problem! I'll give them a call! " Her kindness spoke VOLUMES! Some places would've made this very difficult!

We went here for the holiday lights with an overnight stay. Because they were five of us we were relegated to stay in the cabins. They were nice but nothing extraordinary. The restaurant at the hotel had the worst service we had to walk out and go eat in a KFC. The light show was great and overall the experience was fun. Also we love the butterfly pavilion.

I don't know where to start. The horrible customer service, oh, and also you can't forget the 60 dollar buffet.

First off, on the first night off our stay, we
decided that we wanted to go eat dinner at
the dining room.

We waited in a long line, and when we finally got to the counter, the woman was so rude. We asked for a table for 14 people, and she stood there in silence for about 10 seconds, contemplating her life decisions. After that, she walked away without even saying anything, we waited there for about another 10 minutes with a big line behind us. She finally came back and said, "Our table is ready." What kind of customer service is that, this place needs some help, I think I can run this place better than any of them.

Second of all, this place is short staffed. It has the potential to be great, but we encountered a lot of staff that need training and / or additional leadership.

We also came back to our room today, and the towels had been replenished, but the bed was not made!

This place has a lot of potential, but they fall short in a lot of big areas.
