Have been a member since they first opened. The staff are friendly and they have personal trainers to assist you with any needs you may have. I enjoy doing a monthly cupping session to help ease the tight muscles as tension.

The gym was good, and the people went out of their way to make us feel welcome. However, they need to get rid of this payment processing vendor. If you need to cancel your membership, you'll need travel to Antarctica, traverse to the South Pole, circle it twice, close one eye, stand on your head, sail back, call the number, argue with a condescending person, send an email, respond to an email, pay for a couple more months, then cancel your card, go to collections, mortgage your house, live on the street....but still have a nice gym for life with really nice people to help you out.

It's nice enough, hence the additional star. But the cancellation requires you to first call peak payment solutions, and then from there email their support email in order to cancel. Only then after 7 days will your membership be cancelled. The vibe is also totally off, people making ugly faces, hogging machines, using multiple machines at once. Just avoid this place. They also shadily require you to purchase an extra month up front which you will not get back according to peak payment solutions. Sketchy. Just avoid. Seriously.

Update:

I removed one star. It turns out, not only do you pay for an extra month up front, but you have to pay for an extra month at the end. Here is the response from Peak Billing Solutions:

"Thank you for contacting Peak Payment Solutions regarding your membership to Zone Athletic Clubs - Fort Col. Based on the terms of your contract, you are able to cancel with a 30-day written notice once your contract term has been reached. We are currently processing your cancellation request and your membership will expire on Sep 29, 2024 with your last payment due as of Jul 29, 2024."

Zone is locking members into a membership they cannot easily cancel. Adobe was literally just sued by the US government for this.

Good equipment / gym. Unfortunately very unreliable with their opening times. Sunday October 13th. Supposed to open at 6am. Arrived at 6 and waited in my car until 6:40am - no one showed up to open the gym. Thursday October 17th. Opening time is 4:30am. Arrived at 5 and waited in the car until 5:20am. No one showed up again…2 times in 1 week. About the 6th time this has happened in the 1 year i have been a member

This location has a routine issue with very poor maintenance especially with keeping the TV monitors on the treadmills in working order and the exterior building maintenance is almost non-existent. For the last couple weeks there are no treadmills with a working TV monitor. I will not go back to this location until the management understands that the fee we pay is to provide a facility with the equipment in working order.

I have had 0 negative experiences at this gym since I joined last December. It was a no hassle and straightforward sign-up process with Xavier. I was not exposed to any kind of hidden fees or any other kind of manipulation. I am 50 years old and have belonged to gyms since I was a teenager. This facility is one of the best of I've belonged. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I've come to know most of the trainers by name and they are professional and extremely knowledgeable. Not only don't I feel pressure to sign up for personal training (which I would in a heart beat except for budget constraints) but the trainers will always time to share their knowledge with you and give you tips for free. I so appreciate all you guys!
