XL Kites is awesome. Mike is a great guy! From initial call to lesson, everything was great. I learned basic winging on a SUP in 2 hours. I also bought gear from XL Kites and they were good on price, explaining and teaching.

I bought the lesson package with XLKites after seeing people do the sport in person and online, and could not be happier with how it has gone so far! For anyone looking to start, this shop is a great place to call/visit and will give you all the gear and knowledge you need to have a good time out on the water at a great price.

I've had amazing lessons with Victoria and Jeff, both instructors are great teachers and passionate about seeing new people get into the sport. Michael, the shop owner, has also been super awesome about getting me outfitted for the water and imparting his knowledge. Timing is flexible depending on the wind. Overall, it's been a great experience, can't wait for more good days out there!

Lovely experience. Scheduling with Bridget is easy and as flexible as the wind will allow. Expert instruction; Michael in particular has a firm handle on how to teach. He shows. He tells stories. He uses metaphors. He helps you see things you wouldn't know to look for. Makes it all very comfortable as you progress from basics, to smaller kites, to bigger kites, to beach dragging, to on the water. Wouldn't rush the process. Would recommend putting some fun time in on a trainer kite first - everyone will appreciate it when you show up for lessons. Jeff is the muscle so the ladies feel extra safe. Please treat the guys well; tips not requested but appreciated. Good vibes. Great people. Family feel. I'd ask about the unique and youthful bracelets if not sold out :0)

Michael did an outstanding job getting me up and having a blast on the Efoil. He is calm, patient, knowledgeable and full of analogies and brilliant tips to get efoiling with a solid foundation. He is an excellent instructor and solid guy with a wealth of experience in variety of sports. I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson!

Me and my son just had the best time ever with Michael at XLKites. We did our course and we were up on a board within an hour. Great instructions, felt safe the entire time, very nice equipment and our Instructor Michael was very patient and continued to give us encouragement the entire time. Definitely family friendly great people and I will continue to do business from here on out. You have a loyal customer here for life.

I took a E-foil lesson with Michael. He was very informative and patient. The lesson was supposed to be three hours. However he spent extra time with me and my 2 classmates. I highly recommend lessons with Michael.
