Stayed several nights here recently with a friend who owns a place here. If you are an avid golfer, you should visit Worthington and consider buying a townhouse or house here. Their restaurant is excellent, by the way. The already great facilities are going to be upgraded further soon.

Great place! Teaching classes there is great. The women who live there are awesome. Strong and resilient. Really nice gym facility and fitness classroom. Really nice gated community. Very safe and friendly. Close to 75, Bonita Beach.

I am segmenting this rating in multiple parts.
We rented a place for a longer term after moving from Canada to Florida. Initially, we thought about buying one of the larger houses in Tonbridge. We stepped back from this after experiencing the club life.

Golf course:
We are two adults and two kids (14/16). My wife and I play handicap 6 and 2, my kids break 85 on a regular day. The course is nice, challenging and rewarding. We liked to play it.
We heard about a failed renovation that set back the club by millions. There are corners in this club that are really bad. We have seen oil leaks of equipment damaging greens, there are a lot of weeds in the fairway grass. Overall, not a well maintained course but still a solid 3 out of 5. We wanted to use 2 own golf cards, which was prohibited.

Facilities:
The main pool area is nice. You can not really swim laps, but they organize a aqua gymnastics to work out. The water is nice, the pool clean.
The hot tub is for people 12 and up, which is great.
A gym is next to the pool and well maintained.
Tennis is good as well.

Food:
You have to pay a minimum food fee per year, which we had to pay half for the 6 month rental period.
The club house restaurant was closed in summer, the cabana open on selected days. The food in the cabana is fried and not very fresh.
The team of the cabana was a charm, really nice people.
In the main clubhouse restaurant, we never felt welcome. Especially entering as younger people, as a family and with kids triggered many members.

Community:
We had a warm welcome and connected with a few neighbours. My family (wife and 2 kids) felt accepted. After some experiences with Members, we decided that we will not move here.
My kids have been yelled at on the range and while practicing. We have been looked down on in the clubhouse restaurant by some old guys that believe they are important.
The HOA is crazy, the streets are organized like little states. We felt monitored all the time.
Next to this, spending other peoples money is quite a common behaviour. The course was renovated badly, lets do it again. Lets do new stuff in the clubhouse, lets invest a lot. Lets redo this or this. How do we finance? We just increase dues and install one time payments.
At the end, the community has a load of debth. Most of the current members dont care. They want to have it nice now and if the house is sold after their passing, who cares about financial imbalance.
I do not appreciate to be treated like a teenager.
If you like arrogant "know it alls" I recommend Worthington.

After Worthington, we rented in Quail West. More expensive, more elite and a better community. I am treated with respect and we have more like minded people in the same income bracket.
We bought a place early 2023 and never regretted it a day.

I was just at your country club for a luncheon with the ladies from Southern Pines. I wanted you to know your wait staff and manager were just terrific. The food was incredible. It was a great experience. Thank you all for a wonderful time.

Great golf course. Well maintained. Excellent food in Pub and Cabana. Friendly environment among residents and guests. Lots to do, golf, tennis, pickleball, swimming pools, aerobics, exercise room, bocce, organized arts, crafts. Can't get bored. Make friends. Not clicky. Great place to be.

Had another very pleasant experience today with Hans dermatology. Had Mohs surgery on my arm. Dr. Harrington and the entire staff were so very pleasant to deal with. After removing the tissue we had the biopsy results in 30 minutes as opposed to an hour and a half to two hours which it usually takes when I have it done at a hospital. Of the affected tissue was removed with the first surgery. ONSPOT Will be my ONE spot. If I had closed my eyes I would not have known whether I was in a mobile clinic or at Yale New Haven Hospital. I would recommend on Spot To anyone who needs dermatology care.
