Wilderness Club Resort - Eureka, Montana

If you’re a golfer you need to play this course. The golf facilities from the practice areas to the course are fantastic. I wouldn’t describe this place as a resort but more like a private community with good amenities. There is only one restaurant and it’s more of a grill that you would find at a clubhouse. Service has room for improvement but the food was good. We stayed in a house on the expansive 500 acre property and grilled most days. Overall great experience at Wilderness.

Played the Golf Course and the experience was exceptional. The staff were true professionals and the practice facility was A++. The course itself was in excellent conditions. The numerous bunkers were in great shape and all in similar condition. No inconsistencies. I highly recommend this golf course to players of all levels.

Early July - course was in great shape and the views all around were impressive. Not a single complaint to offer about the golf course from anyone in our group - including 3 handicaps up to 16.

Stayed on site and the cabins were great. Probably could use more seating in the common room but not a big deal. The food was really good and exceeded expectations coming in. The restaurant/kitchen was maybe a little understaffed, especially around lunch when several people are coming off the course and activities, but everyone our group interacted with was great.

Special shoutouts to Tina and Chef in the Grill, great positive attitudes and service.

Tyson working the cart area was clutch. We took a shuttle in and didn't have a way to get food one night after the Grill closed, so Tyson drove to town to pick up some pizzas for us.

Overall a great experience for us and will certainly try and get back soon.

We stayed at the Wilderness Club in July and were very disappointed.||The scenery is gorgeous.||The "cottage" we stayed in was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. ||The website is very misleading and they need to fix it.||This place is interested in selling homes to people. It's really more like an airbnb. It is not a resort under any standard measure. The lake was closed and it seems that it has been for a long time. A typical resort would at least suggest alternate activities if the lake was closed. The people at the front desk always seemed to be busy with something but not helping people.||It's a beautiful facade, just like Instagram.

Annual golfing trip with friends and this year it included the Wilderness golf course. What a place and course. Great views, challenging course, and friendly staff. Saw various wildlife while golfing, which made the experience even better.

A bit spendy, but well worth it. We do wish they had more options in their pro shop.

I was so disappointed. |There is no lodge, there is no spa, there is no hotel. You either rent a cabin or you rent a room in a cabin with a separate entrance and share a common room. They don’t tell you this |Upon arrival I was pounced on by there realtor. When he found out where I was coming from in Montana he backed off |immediately. |The staff barely spoke English and the food and service was horrendous as were the prices. |The course was ok but not great. The sand traps were cement. |The air quality was what scared me the most. Both my partner and I started to feel like we could not get our breath. |They are going private so no more Canadian or area golf days. |This resort has had many owners and it shows. |Don’t waste your time when Whitefish, Kallispell and Fernie are close by.

Had a 9:30 tee time that started 10 minutes late. Played as a twosome, so expected a slower round, but the foursomes in front and behind us were constantly waiting as well. Some of the waits were painfully long. It was a 5 hour round, didn’t see a marshall ever come around to try to speed it up. Course is in fantastic shape, beautifully maintained.

This club has so much potential. The views and location is awesome. What was definitely not awesome was the shape of the greens. I've played all over the world and these were some of the slowest I've ever encountered. There is a skeleton crew of people working, we asked if they had tees for us and we were flatly told no (despite $150 green fees) and then the terribly slow greens. View was good but our enjoyment of the round really suffered
