Make sure you don’t bring people to the range unless they are VERY good with a handgun. If they accidentally let a bullet strike any part of the carrier (which they spray paint like a metal target so they see it immediately) they will “fine them” $100 per strike. Even if there is absolutely no damage. This happened to my adult grandson. I was unable to talk them out of it despite being a customer for 10 years. I remember the owner telling me about their plans for the location, when they had their tiny storefront shop is south Daytona. They were nice and I’m glad they’ve succeeded. Having said that, I won’t be buying anymore firearms, range use, food, or booze from them again. Seems they don’t even recognize a lifetime customer when they are standing in front of them. It seems they have plenty of business now. I’m done.

I went to the Double Barrel Grill/Volusia Top Gun with my family last Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We had lunch and dinner there. This place was so good, and the staff was so friendly and spot on! I must say though the Chef (Carmella) was the bomb!!!! Her food was off the chart de.....lic......ious!!!!! The owner Ron was very personable and very accommodating! After you eat in his restaurant you should go on over to the shooting range, that was so much fun, and everyone is all about safety and making sure you know how to handle the firearm of your choice. I will definitely come back here again!!!! Thanks to everyone that made our time here in Daytona memorable 🙂

I went here for a personal safety class. The instructor was amazing. Learned a few things I didn’t know. Afterwords checked out the onsite restaurant. It was very pricey. The retail store adjacent to the restaurant is well stocked with a ton to choose from. Will be going back. Star deducted for price of cocktails, $15 for a house margarita. Smh

Who makes an Angle’s Envy old fashioned like this?!?!? Also, the gun range was overpriced and some idiot with a short barrel AR was placed right next to us on almost completely open range.

Upate the owner had a less than savory and unprofessional response to this. Highly recomend if you are in dayonta area to try Stickland Gun range instead.

Thought it would be a great idea to bring my daughter and sister here to shoot. Past visits have been amazing. Not sure what’s going on with the current employees but rude is an understatement. Shot around for about an a hour and during that hour the guy that’s sweeping while we are shooting is giving out 15 minute warnings that their time is up. He gives no warning walks up to my right side and yells “times up”. I looked at him as if he lost his damn mind smh. Like what’s your problem! Then he goes to the lane where my niece is and yells the same. Who pissed in your cheerios bruh Very very rude…as we spent about $350 there that day….it was giving rude and racists….

We scheduled a Private lesson with an instructor to get lesson on firing a pistol. Not my girlfriend or I have had previous experience firing firearms before and have never been around them or know really anything about them. We started the lesson with Patrick our Instructor, with everything that we need to know before firing a fire arm. We went over things such as stance, how to aim your sights, fire arm safety, how to hold the firearm, and the many other things I would have never considered. We learned so much in the first half of the lesson the money we paid was worth it just right there. Once he felt we were comfortable with what he taught us we then went into the range. My girlfriend was very apprehensive and nervous with firing a firearm but at the end of it she broke through that fear and felt comfortable and safe around fire arms. That’s breakthrough was all thanks to our Instructor Patrick who made sure to go over things and made sure that she and I both felt comfortable with what we were doing. He was super understanding, sincere, truly cared and was passionate about what he was teaching. I learned a lot and am very thankful that we got to have this experience at Volusia Top Gun and definitely are going to be coming to use the range and buy a firearm in the future. Thank you again Patrick for being such an amazing instructor and making sure we felt comfortable inside the range.

Jess was very kind and was able to get me in and out very quickly making purchasing a suppressor very easy.

They have 25yd ranges here it'll run you $20 and hour they have targets for $1 a piece. You're allowed to rapid fire as long as you don't hit the target carrier they have a sign letting you know it's a $100 fee if you hit anything above a certain line. The range officer I met is pretty chill and the people who check you in before you walk in the range can help you if you have a question about your suppressor for the most part.

The membership is pretty pricey and maybe if the range was longer/had metal or allowed you to bring your own targets like bowling pins etc and offered better perks it could be justified but maybe they'll drop the price and swap some perks out and make something work.
