Vineyard Valley has the best value golf out there. Prices are more than reasonable. Range on site which is a huge plus. I've been able to make tee times and play as a walk-in. I love it here.

Vineyard is 9 holes with your classically, quirky New England layout. That does mean generally short length, but don't be fooled into thinking scoring is easy. The course runs up and down a hill, so there is almost never a flat lie and constant, severe elevation change. For the most part, you are carving approaches into either a blind, microscopic, or double-tiered green. If you're not a somewhat long hitter, good luck holding the greens with a middle iron. Many of the holes can be rendered harmless by overpowering them off the tee, however there are plenty of places to lose aggressive tee shots or approaches into the woods. Short par 5's and a drivable par 4 provide ample scoring opportunities. Birdies are pretty hard to come by elsewhere. While the greens have VASTLY improved in the last 2 years, they are still pretty unpredictable and it's hard to rely on making many putts.

The course retains some water so it can get messy after rain. The current ownership has really done a great job improving the conditions. I really appreciate the progress. They are constantly changing the tee box and pin positions which really adds some variety and includes often tough tucked locations.

6th tee box might be the best view anywhere. The 9th hole a great finishing par 3 peninsula green. That water has stolen many solid rounds.

I could probably play here every day.

Beautiful grounds, scenic area, just has a special feel about the place. The driving range and putting green were awesome. Prices were fair.

Essential Superheroes

Staff are fantastic. Jabbar has done wonderful things with the course and the conditions continue to improve. Reasonable conditions for the price. Courses challenging because the hills leave you on a side hill lie most of the time, and the greens tough. The grass on the greens is a little long so they play slow and don't take breaks the way you'd expect.
All in all a good course to practice on.

I am writing this after never having been here before but playing at a number of other courses. Staff is very friendly and welcoming the course itself is beautiful. Green conditions were very nice when I was there note it had rained the night before I see people complain the greens are slow I believe it was the rain that did this for me. 1 through 6 wind back and forth up a large hill and 7 is a sheer drop down.... this was the only part I was not a fan of but that is more on me and heights than the course it was still beautiful. I rang the bell of shame twice on the last hole and over all thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. I promise you I have played on much less kept courses and for the price, experience and genuine nature of the staff you can not go wrong here.
