Wow! I can’t say enough good things about this rental! Location: Great! Close to the beach, very nice neighborhood. The house itself was perfect for what we were looking for. Pool, game room, karaoke room, space, tons of space, washer and dryer in the unit, clean, comfy beds. The customer service was what it should be: kind, courteous, responsive. Overall, wonderful place to stay with our family. We will most definitely go back and recommend to our friends and family.

We stayed here for a week with eight adults and two children. The house layout was great. Each room has its own full bath and one room is connected to the kids room by a shared bathroom which is super convenient for the parents.
The kids room is adorable! They loved it and rarely wanted to leave it🙂
The house is big enough that you don't feel crowded but not so big that there is wasted space.
Extremely convenient to both the beach and the river. The beach side is lovely and just a short walk.
We had one issue that we reached out to the management team on and they responded immediately.
There are some very yummy restaurants nearby and plenty of shopping etc.

I would recommend this wholeheartedly and we will definitely be back!

We rented a villa in Harbor Island for eight days, expecting a clean and well-maintained vacation home. Unfortunately, the condition of the property and the overall experience fell far short of our expectations.

Upon arrival, it was immediately clear the house had not been properly cleaned—we even found crumbs between the sofa cushions—and the general upkeep appeared neglected. Basic essentials were missing, including a spare roll of toilet paper and even a salt and pepper shaker in the kitchen. These are small but important details that are typically standard in vacation rentals. When we inquired about using the pool heater, we were informed of an additional daily fee that had not been disclosed at the time of booking. This lack of transparency was frustrating and only added to our disappointment.

The property management company felt impersonal and overly corporate, with no apparent care for the guest experience. Attention to detail and guest satisfaction were clearly not priorities, a stark contrast to the thoughtful hospitality we’ve experienced at other rentals.

While the location wasn’t ideal for families with young children—there are no nearby playgrounds, and most activities require a 30-minute drive—this was a secondary issue. The real letdown was the condition of the property and the service provided.

Overall, the property and management did not live up to the listing or our expectations. We would not recommend this rental to anyone seeking a first-class experience.

Upon arrival to our Storybook Escape, 5 bedroom villa, we saw a casino style gaming table, which would rival being in Las Vegas. As we moved on, we were greeted with an extremely large dining room table, large enough to seat fourteen of people ...around the corner an oversized user friendly kitchen with seating for three on the peninsula... the open plan kitchen gave a view of the great room with its large TV and beautiful appointments, to the right we loved observing the nice size private swimming pool, dining and lounging areas. The additional grill and 1/2 bath was an added touch of convenience... prior to going upstairs we found an amazing home theatre, state of the art laundry room and an additional 1/2 bath. As we ascended up the large staircase we came across the commercial size PAC Man and basketball rebound game... the kids loved it!!! Also loved was the Storybook Escape kids bedroom from the wall murals to the amazing oversized bunk beds it made going to bed an adventure that the kids looked forward to. The large and roomy three king suites and two double bed rooms were not only very comfortable but very private.

Overall with ample lighting and abundance of ceiling fans along with a user the friendly a/c unit we have found a new vacation home.

Along with the conveniences of Disney being a short distance away, the private pool, being steps from the private beach for fantastic sunrises, the large communal pool area overlooking the river for great sunsets, and the amazing staff who was just a phone call away, we believe we found a home away from home!!!

Great place to have a family gathering. Beach was close (walking distance) the house was great during the afternoon storms the kids played video games and watched movies in the theater room. We had a total of 16 people in the house and we had plenty of room. If Villatel would have pet friendly options. We will book again next May/June

We loved staying here, was great for a family get together, we loved being able to be so close to the beach but also have the pool! House was so Fun with a pirate themed room. The kids loved hanging out in there.

The house was absolutely beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the theme rooms and the private pool. The location was perfect for accessing the beach and local entertainment. The adults enjoyed the comfort of the home and the ability to spread out with the children. The home was super clean and cozy. Perfect for all.

Awesome house with lots of space to gather and visit for our families vacation. The three King size rooms with private bathrooms was a must have for us. The kids absolutely loved the castle/play room so they had a spot of their own. We had 9 people and had plenty of space/beds not used. The area is on a quiet side of the island but still plenty to do and not far from town. The private pool has plenty of seating on the patio and the outside bathroom made it simple. The dinning room table was a cherry on top that we could all actually sit together for meals or play games.
