The best part of Valencia is getting on the course and getting away from the clubhouse staff. The younger the employee the nicer they are. I had the weakest, most unimpressive turkey club sandwich I've ever had (two slices of warmed not toasted bread, packaged turkey meat, 4/5 day old brittle particles of bacon). It was made by a woman who is rarely not staring at her phone avoiding customer contact. My playing partner was treated with aggravation by pro shop staff when paying and trying to buy beverages after 4 pm since the food woman had left. There is a screen on the patio that is never turned on unless you ask - confirmed by another golfer that agreed (yes, you have to ask EVERY time you come here). Why is it there if no one wants to turn it on ? What I'm saying is that cheeriness and smiling customer service is vacant from the "adults" working there...until you hit the course staff. My friend as a first time golfer there was greeted as an annoyance when he asked where the ball machine was (older employee). Please release these people from their painful employment and hire younger, more friendly and more eager staff.

Low end course in the area requesting proper attire for range use only. Asked if I’d like to buy a collared shirt in order to use a bucket of balls or any range services. They allowed jeans and graphic T- Shirts for others I saw there another day. Go down the street to arrowhead, better facilities for the same price range.

The course is not what you would expect for $300.00. Way over booked, non existent pace of play. Took five hours to play 18 holes after waiting and waiting and waiting. The course is a mess. Front nine is just in bad shape surrounded by cement block houses, and the back nine is literally a construction site. Our cart got stuck in mud and rocks with no signage in site. Oh, and no sand in the cart, which may explain why the course looked as it did. It needs a lot of work or at least some attention. The starter was great.

Fun course with a decent layout. I wish the greens were bigger, but overall not a bad course. I went on Columbus Day and still had a sub-4 hour round. The only negative was how slow service was at the turn. They were out of hotdogs (how does a course not have hotdogs on a holiday?) so we had to get sandwiches (1 ham and one chicken salad) and it took 10+ minutes—for a few pieces of ham, and a slice of cheese on plain bread. Same for the chicken salad! We got passed by the group behind us and they were so slow that we had to skip a hole to get back ahead, since that wouldn’t let us play through. Overall, not bad but I’ll pack my own food next time so I don’t lose my place on the course.

Pretty decent public course. I tee'd off in the am at 7 and I noticed the bunkers were not raked. Club house is very basic as are the carts. Layout was pretty good and greens and tee decks were in good shape. Bit pricey, but overall 8/10.

Decent public course. Not too keen on watering their course at the moment. Several approach shots on the green looked like we had landed in the bunker due to the amount of sand that kicked up.
Course got crazy backed up with several different generations on the course, of all skill levels. Difficult to pass a group because you still can’t go anywhere. That was a bit frustrating, especially when you have 2 rangers on the course who really didn’t do anything other than drive their carts around. Tough problems to solve, but many have figured out how to do it well.

Fairways were in decent shape, tee boxes were pretty good for a public course.

Overall: decent course, nothing too note worthy.

In my opinion this is the place not to play especially for $100. The course is in sad shape, the pro shop and snack shake are just that, most of the personnel are congenial except for the lady that worked the beverage counter on 12-05-24 she had no customer service skills and was almost rude about it. I asked if the had a tuna sandwich no ham, turkey, or some other meat she looked at me like I had a third eye, (well I do but apparently the cover makeup was not working that day, sorry couldn't resist. I asked if I could go try the restaurant in the main clubhouse and she emphatically said no it is for residents only. As I had not eaten all day when the cart lady came around I asked if she could get me a sandwich and she asked what kind. I said tune and she said yea and would bring it back. She cam back with a chicken salad and said they are soooooo good. Unfortunately she had already charged my credit card and had to go back to the clubhouse and get it credited back. I say her about an hour later with the recipe and said TUNA?

Pretty course and in good shape. Back 9 has neighborhood construction still taking place so it isn’t as pretty as the front, but the course itself is complete and we had a beautiful morning. I was in the sand a little more than usual, so they have strategically placed sand traps! They have a cool logo which required a golf shop purchase. 😊
