Highly reccomend Tunxis as a wedding venue. My wife and I had the best experience, from the staff to the ambiance to how smoothly the day went. The day of coordinator Ashley is amazing and is there to help you through it all. The Vjrf Alex is so personable and really puts love into his food. The outdoor woodsy vibe was beautiful, the lit trees at night and the fire pit are the perfect touches. We love Tunxis!

Another spontaneous Golf Weekend!

Had the pleasure of Playing all 3 TPCC Courses White, Green and Red over the last 3 days. Enjoyed all 3 The white was the Nicest in my opinion, More challenging Than Red or Green Hit em straight and you will be rewarded. My wife only plays 9 so the red was an Perfect dose.

The Staff overall was Friendly. Had an 7 am Tee time and the doors were open at 640 went in to register and the Older Man was taken back and said I haven't even opened the register come back in 10 Instead of good morning:) or some welcoming greeting Lock the doors then if you aren't ready? was Planning on hitting an bucket to warm up but that didn't happen. The carts were nice and clean and sanitized. Enjoyed an surprise Morning shower by the sprinklers but it Felt good in the heat:) Prices were reasonable.

Hopefully they will get the Tavern Open soon it looked like an nice place to relax with an Cold Drink after an Round.

Nice Town Would Play here again.

Went to a wedding but the food from the bread to the main meal was horrific. We were table fourteen and the service also was horrible. When they brought our bread for the table of 10 they had six rolls when we asked enough for the rest of our table we were told they didn’t have any more. Awful. We had some kind of dried chicken with a bone in it, it was to the point of being not edible. We had a person with cancer who had to have his meat cooked well and sent it back twice, then came back back charred and still red. Terrible food and service.
I would recommend this place to anyone.
But the Brides were beautiful.

Took my Best Buddy of 60 years to play the White Course for his 65th Birthday on 8/21/2024! I had not been there in over 30 years and had been bragging about Tunxis for years! It was extremely over priced, had no visuals of the next hole on the Tee Box, was soaking wet and an overall disgrace to a once Historic Golf Course with a Wonderful Story behind its Founder! The lunch in the Tavern was just about out of everything on the Menu to boot! No one in the Clubhouse lifted a finger or asked if we were familiar with the Course! I had to follow my 30 year old instincts! Never Again! It was a complete disappointment! Shame on them! PS… Several of the greens were aerated also! ?

Wonderful time at the annual charity gala that chose this long established Farmington Club as it's location and host this year. Held in a spacious outdoor pavilion with event tent sidewalls for warmth and an outdoor fire pit, there was an open bar, dinner table with a London Broil carving station, pasta, bread and circulating appetizer trays throughout the meal. The food was well prepared. There was plenty of seating with white table cloths and autumn centerpieces.

A table for patrons to purchase wrapped wines guaranteed a certain value was center place, and a stage with lectern and PA system was set up at the front end for speakers and award winners. The CCF charity had its usual photograph station, as well, for people who want to pose for photos to capture a memento from the night.

The Tunxis Country Club, opened in 1962, mostly used for its 45 hole golf course and by its members, has two places open for events on its grounds plus a full service restaurant and bar. Ample parking, country setting, convenient location, and professional service makes this a good choice for those looking for above par places to meet.

This venue was perfect for our wedding ceremony & reception. The location is gorgeous, the event manager is amazing to work with, the food is spectacular. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. This place will always be special to us.

Tunxis is an excellent place to go for a round of golf. There are multiple courses that challenge everybody at every skill level. Always well kept in good shape and a fun place to play. There is both practice greens as well as an irons driving range. Parking is convenient and easily located in Farmington right off of Rt4
