Best range in the area. Very well maintained, reasonably priced, both matts and grass tees, bunker, short game, putting, they got everything. 🙂

Had some time to spare and had my clubs with me. 150 balls, $15, and a grass driving range. The facility was clean, they were mostly newish Maxfli golf balls and grass was pretty decent for a public range. Would be nice if they had more targets in the 50-100 yard range but there were palm trees out there that I really liked. Short game area looked adequate and in decent shape. Great value range stop!

Went to the driving range with to practice for an upcoming friendly tournament. I should mention that neither I nor my friend had any experience. We meet with Mike, who was very friendly and he spend several minutes with us going over the basics. That was very kind of him. After learning some basics we spend the rest of the time practicing what Mike had just shown us.
Overall a great experience especially this being the first time on a driving range.

By far the best driving range in the Tri-Valley area.
Best features:
It has a grass practice area, which is what’s recommended by most anything you’ll see. You can see your divot. Almost all other driving ranges use mats. This gives much less visual feedback on your stroke.

It has two dedicated pitching / chipping areas with a green. Has a sand practice bunker.

The prices for a bucket of balls are about 30% less than say The Bridges driving range.

The staff is always friendly with smiles and nice greetings. Has a nice counter area with chilled drinks, snacks & restrooms.

This place is really hard to beat.

People friendly. When u have to hit off mats they are worn down and hard. The grass tees are ok but sometimes in sketchy condition like today too soft and wet though not actually muddy. The previous time I was there the chipping area needed some maintenance.

Shaded mar and grass hitting areas with plenty of targets with accurate yardages on them. Fair prices for balls as well. Some decent to very good pros on staff. Ask for Jake if you need help with your swing.

I started going to TVGC several years ago when I moved back up here from southern CA. I used to golf down there year round, rounds a couple times a week. Up here I didn't think there were any good facilities, and especially none in the lay-person's affordability scale in which I find myself. But TVGC has helpful staff and a great facility, and all at a price you won't have to scoff at. The real grass tee-boxes are a huge perk in a driving range. Turf and especially rubber mats just don't give you good quality practice. Practice how you play, you play on grass, practice on grass. Great facility, hope the outlet mall doesn't consume it.
