Darren is an amazing teacher! I had never swung a club until my first lesson at Tri-Fit. With each lesson I gained more confidence and tangible instruction that I could apply and practice between sessions. He is extremely patient and can work with players of all levels. He makes the process fun and I always look forward to returning. I also ended up buying a set of clubs from Tri-Fit because I trusted Darren's knowledge of what would be the best fit for me after a few months of lessons. They have a simulator which I learned to swing on and also have a spacious putting and chipping practice space. I have turned into a golf addict thanks to Tri-Fit! They are the best.

Wish there was a no-star option...
I’ve met a ton of golf experts in my career—so many willing to help me achieve my goals and instruct me, encourage me and share their advice. Never have I met such a dour, miserable, unwelcoming proprietor as the owner of Tri-Fit Darien, CT. Here’s a guy that decided he hated me from the moment I walked in—clearly his only client all day and only representing a $30 sale, but haven’t we learned that the first impression is the one that lasts? I mean if you look up curmudgeon in the dictionary, I’m sure there’s a picture of this guy next to it. Funny how his staff was overly friendly as if to compensate for their horrible boss. Not to mention the sloppiness of the club I asked him to assemble—excess glue on the hozel and the shaft. Ironically, I was forced to go back for another quick assembly (there are so few services near me) and I thought, ya’ know, we all have a bad day, maybe he’s just having one, I’m sure when I go back, he’ll be friendly, and helpful, and thankful (again, I appeared to be his only customer). Wrong. He’s double down on depressing and I am done with trying again.

Sloppy, expensive and unfriendly. Thanks but no thanks—I’ll travel further next time.
