Let me just state upfront that I am a fair person that leans towards giving positive reviews. Also, I have done extensive domestic and internal travels, ranging from luxurious to the most basic accommodations. When it comes to hotels, I'm not picky but my only strict criteria is cleanliness, and this place fell way short. I have stayed at "hotels" in poor rural areas in foreign countries that would put this place to shame.

A last minute decision to evacuate a recent hurricane and the lack of availability in this part of the state is how I ended up here. I didn't have time to read the reviews beforehand and that was my bad. On the way there, someone in our party read multiple reviews that mentioned cockroaches. I thought there's no way that could be true of a Wyndham establishment, even for their budget division. Well, believe me and believe the other reviews. My first impression when I walked in was that this room is disgusting. I tried to remind myself that this is not a vacation, this is all we could get, and I'm not a male Karen so just deal with it. But as soon as I opened the crumbling dresser drawer, a couple of cockroaches darted out. Yikes! Btw, I'm not sure why I took off my shoes when I got there -- perhaps out of habit at home -- but I noticed that the bottom of my socks were almost black from the filthy floor. What to do, what to do? With no other choice but to stay, I went and purchased cleaning supplies and bug killer from the closest Walmart and cleaned the room myself. Barring a desperate situation, there is absolutely no reason for anyone to stay at this place.

Have stayed for a little while this place has great customer service and very helpful with any questions you have during your stay. Coffee is always good and free in the mornings. Greetings with a smile everytime they see you outside of your room. Would stay again anytime.

The room I received has no hot water, toilet is full and backed up, refrigerator and microwave pulled away from the wall (refrigerator isn't working) and has guest who have been screaming and slaming doors since 7 pm yesterday, we checked in at 4 pm on a Friday for two nights. They would not change our room or fix the current issues.

Made reservations because of evacuation orders. Website says pet friendly but they are Not. They canceled our reservation when we were halfway there and had no where else to go with our 3 little dogs. We received our confirmation email and saw they do not allow pets so we called them and pleaded with them to allow our pets considering the circumstances. They canceled our reservation instead after hanging up on us.We are now on the side of the road with 3 small dogs and a child in a small car in the middle of a hurricane. We are under mandatory evacuation orders and can’t go back home.
