Randy and crew were excellent hosts. If you’re heading out with Randy on your first goose hunt do this:
- buy waterPROOF pants and boots. Water resistant clothing won’t cut it. We purchased $25 Camo hurricane suits after freezing the first day. All the guides wear insulated waders.
- your boots should be waterproof AND insulated, wellingtons won’t cut it.
- buy an extended choke, even after patterning our shot for 40 yards, most shots were further. All the guides had extended chokes but Randy. He shoots a 30-inch 10 gauge!
- bring handwarmer packs.
- learn how to call geese ahead of time, you’ll have more fun.
- tip your guides.
- enjoy Randy and the crew, we certainly did.
- Gig ‘em!

Randy is a great guide and super funny dude! We dealt with rain on the first day of our trip, he did everything he could to get us on some birds that day. Weather on our second day was much better, he had options for us and made sure we got a great hunt in. We'll be back in November to chase specks, I recommend booking a hunt with him.

We spent three days hunting with these guys and it was a Best Time Of Our Lives great hunting good time and I would recommend it to anybody who wants to go snow goose or specklebelly hunting in Arkansas. These guys go above and beyond to make sure you have a good time and a great hunt and they become really good friends and like family! I only have use of one arm and and they made sure I was comfortable and help me figure out how to shoot the first use of my life! So I recommend calling Third Coast Outfitters and booking a hunt for any time in late November early December cuz you're going to have a good time!

I would recommend the Hunt to anyone I had a great time. Randy and Andy make you feel like you grew up around them and are just one of the guys going out to have a good time hunting. This was my first goose hunt and I would do it again
