The cabin was a great place to relax during a fun duck hunting weekend. The Main Cabin was comfortable with plenty of room for our group, and the back porch was a perfect place to sit and sip on bourbon after hunting. The back dock was easy to access in the morning and the mud room convenient to unload after.

Wow! This place was amazing. Me and 2 friends always make a trip once a year to public land in Arkansas for a week to hunt ducks. This was by far the best accommodations we have ever booked. We were down the week of January 13th. Not a lot of birds but that seemed to be the consensuses for just about everywhere in the south this year. There was a dock where we could park the boat so all we had to do was wake up, jump in, and go. This made it very nice to not have to deal with the crowd at the public boat ramps. We stayed in the downstairs portion of the sportsman and had plenty of room. The kitchen was great for cooking meals and there is a nice mud room attached to the outside for waders and other items you don't want to bring inside. Dan and Nate the owners of the sportsman were extremely helpful with everything we needed and even pointed us in the right direction for scouting. We had wireless internet which is nice since there is no service. Tons of good looking timber and holes in this area and seems to be less crowed than other places I have been. All in all I give the Sportsman 5 stars and I will definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to duck hunt, fish, or just have a relaxing weekend to decompress.

The cabin was superb and very clean upon arrival. The hosts were great to deal with and very responsive. The access to public land hunting from the dock is second to none and can’t wait to rent again for next season. I have hunted this area in years past through other accommodations but everything about The Sportsman has made sure to bring us back in the coming years.

This is one of the nicest accommodations that I have stayed in over my 15 years of hunting in Arkansas. The cabin is large, open, and spacious. It was great to be able to jump into our boat parked at the cabins dock, and head out hunting. Everything was provided for, just needed to bring our own food. My hunting buddies and I will be renting this cabin for seasons to come!!!!!!!!!

The Sportsman is top notch. Fantastic cabin with all the amenities. These guys have it set up right! Loved being able to get right on the water from our doorstep. Highly recommend.
