Used to go to PV ice rink/la kings. This place is so much better! As an older adult figure skater- love the chairs- like cafe seating. Need a back to my chair. Next- the staff. They r so proud of their instructors they frame their faces and names. The director of skating programs - JACKIE- greets u before your class starts!

The owners R family. Husband & wife r working at the rink with their kids and siblings & inlaws! And ROGER- safety skating guard is ON THE ICE Saturday nights assisting fallen skaters or calming rowdy skaters. Unlike the chaos at PV rink. No safety ever!
PV only had a few great coaches but Skating Edge has many. I get substitutes at times- all great.
The large rink is great- the ice never gets all chunked up no matter the crowd. And they clean the ice before classes. After classes. U always have clean ice! And they have show recitals every few months- so u can show off all u learned in classes!

$140 for 8 classes Learn To Skate members. $15-$18 for drop in practice times. Much better than public skate - all focus is on stroking or skills. Not evading crashes w hockey or beginners.
Music is great too. PV ice actually had SILENCE during public skate!!!

I've been going here 3 times a week for 2 months now, I work out privately with coach Kamila and I go to ice dancing on Thursdays. I really like the community, everyone is very friendly. It may not be a fancy place, but the ice is much better than other places I've been to.

It would be great if there was a skate sharpening there.

Really has a more family owned community vibe compared to other rinks. Don’t mind the other comment on how “this is the worst rink” blah blah, it’s not an NHL Toyota rink facility with tons of sponsors behind it . As long as you don’t approach this rink with that expectation you will have fun. TONS of freestyle sessions so strongly recommend if youre a figure skating and ur in the area!

This ice rink has limited parking and can be very cold ? but the bathrooms do have warm water when washing your hands?. There is seating above and and some down by the boards. The rink is currently in Halloween theme which looks ? and there is a snack bar not sure of the hours.

This place absolutely sucks as it relates to customer service. We have brought multiple issues up to management only to be ignored repeatedly. Management is garbage.

If you are expecting a modern rink and want to pay for that experience, this isn’t the place for you.

If you want your kid to play hockey and know basically all other kids and parents at the rink, and not break the bank, this place works great.

Super underrated rink! Lots of freestyle sessions, Saturday public sessions are SO FUN they have the disco lights, music and everything and staff is all super kind and helpful.

The teachers are nice and teach well.

I notice that they are improving some things which is nice. As of right now they are fixing the roof and lighting! Can't wait for more improvements.

There is no heater though so make sure to stay warm!
