I love that there is a women's only section and the hydo beds are awesome!

I had a membership with them about 3-4 months before covid, I tried to cancel because they didn't allow anybody to use their membership but still charged for it. By the time i went to cancel finally it was cheeper to just let it finish and I made it clear I did not want it to renew.

THEY RENEWED ME ANYWAYS AGAINST MY WISHES AND WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION.

When I called they wanted me to once again pay cancelation fees so I told them to push daisies as I hadn't even lived in the state for 3 months and continued to pay them to finish my year. They have since put it on my credit report without my social somwhow and I haven't paid on principal because it was an unauthorized charge. I got it removed through credit karma but now it's stopping me from buying a house, I have to pay it. Absolutely rediculous to me. These people got 9 months of membership absolutely free of charge because I couldn't even use the gym and now they're going to have to get another $900 from me so I can buy a house. Absolutely horrible business practice in my opinion. It should not be legal to drop something on someone's credit because they no longer want to use your gym and especially when you're automatically renewing whether the person lives in the state, uses the gym, or has told two different customer service reps that they don't want to continue after the end of the current obligations. First and last gym membership I will ever sign up for if this is how gyms work. Idk how these scam artists have as good reviews as they do.

Don’t ever sign a contract with this gym. Their equipment and venue is NOT impressive for the costs. When you try to end your membership in person, they direct you to their website where they provide no confirmation of cancellation. As a married couple, they require both parties to cancel separately without a heads up or customer service call. Ending up paying for two extra months plus large cancellation fees because of a lack of communication on their end.

Poor communicators, poor venue, and money hungry business.

*when talking directly to staff over the phone on 5/24/24, they provided no resolution for their miscommunications and laughed at the issue. Thank you for the copy & paste response though, M.A.C. owner!

Downtown location is right across from work. Clean and classy and well equipped. I love that it's rarely busy. Never have to wait for a machine.

It was an okay gym. The sitting hamstring machine is very awkward because of the design. No other hamstring machine to switch to. Overall, a very small selection of gym equipment. For the same price you can get a membership at a fully equipped gym elsewhere.

When considering the price for membership, you have to consider the additional price of parking, which makes it even more expensive (it definitely adds up each day for the month). So now your $40-$60/month membership becomes $55-$80/month, depending on how often you attend. The only way around this is to park outside of the downtown area which is fine during the warmer months.
