Always a great course to play. Been coming to TGO for 25 years. I have played this course a lot and seen it improve greatly. Conditions currently are not so great due to the preparation for a multi million dollar renovation. Folks in the pro shop are always great and helpful. Always a top rated course in the area. Look forward to playing again when renovations are complete.

Played for the first time today at Great Outdoors Golf Club. Played well, for not knowing the course.
Was a little confusing at first, as to where to go. Many helpful folks around.
And, today at least, lighting ⚡️fast greens!
Made the game a bit more interesting ⛳️
Course is in good shape.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience playing golf at this course. A group of five of us went out for what we thought would be a relaxing and enjoyable round. We were playing efficiently, keeping pace with the group ahead, and ensuring we didn’t hold anyone up. Despite following all the rules and maintaining good sportsmanship, some of the local residents felt the need to call and complain about our group.

It’s baffling that, instead of addressing actual issues, people would go out of their way to ruin someone else’s day over something so trivial. If a group is respectful, on pace, and not disturbing anyone, why should it matter if there are five players?

The course staff seemed obligated to act on the complaints, and while they were polite, the whole situation left a bad taste. This incident completely undermined what should have been a positive experience. If the course is catering to overly sensitive residents rather than paying customers, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

This course has come a long way in just a short time. Greens were in fantastic condition. Fairways were good and tee boxes were in great shape to. This is a really fast playing course cause there is no turn at 9, you just keep going which makes for a quick round. Also make sure to hit the Blue Heron restaurant after your round cause the food is awesome.

Very nice staff! The course has it challenges but fair as long as you understand "risk / reward". Water is prevalent on many holes as well as gators so bring a ball retriever 😉.
The practice range is a pond so you'll have plenty of time to get rid of your water shots warming up. They use floating golf balls, I was told they hit about 80% of normal balls.
The carts are clean, they have bar cart on busy days or hit up the bar inside for snacks and drinks.
The course is a great value for your time and money. The golf course is within a gated community so program a minute or two stop at the gate before getting to the course!

Nice RV community with easy access to Orlando attractions and local beaches. Stocked and maintained lakes for the freshwater fisherman and close to saltwater options. Not a golfer but the greens and fairways look enjoyable. Lots of wildlife all around. DO NOT FEED GATORS.

Very nice place to park your RV or get a place to stay can’t wait for the remodel on the golf course. My friend used to work there and says the service there at the restaurant is great.

Husband and I went out golfing today. He's been here in the past (been a while), but it was my first visit.

PROS
*Easy to make tee time online and decent pricing
*Gorgeous course, definitely well maintained
*Pace of play was good - able to stay right behind the foursome in front of us with a 3-4 man group behind
*Wildlife to see - saw some gators in the water
*Good challenge of a course where all the clubs are getting broken out
*Professional and friendly staff
*Fellow golfers didn't press up against us hard when we were having to wait on the two groups ahead

CONS
*Only con I could find was that we only saw drink cart once and they only took cash or cash app - we'll remember to bring cash next time
