Had not player here in a while. Booked a tee time at 8:15 on Wed July 3. Range was.closed. On holes 3, 5, 6 and 11 there was a worker watering green with a large hose that could put out a large fire. Also on several hole big tractors mowing. Paid $96.00 for two people to play golf on wet greens and being distracted by workers and tractors mowing. I called club house and they stated they should be through by 9. At 11 it was still going on. This is a nice course but I won’t play in the morning again. I am not a pro golfer by no means but think they can do better than this.
Really disappointed. I live in Maumelle too!

I’m by no means a golf snob when it comes to courses, but this place is in really poor shape. The staff were all very nice and accommodating, but the course is terrible. There’s no real practice putting green. It looks like they converted an old tee box, tiny little thing. Everything looks like either they ran out of money or nobody cares, or both. Most greens are in really bad shape with weeds growing in them, bald spots, heat spots already? The fairways have poor drainage so even days after it’s rained everything is muddy, live they’re not doing ongoing maintenance or sanding. The tee boxes are an afterthought on most holes. The cart paths are a wreck, in many cases broken up and underwater from creeks and other areas that don’t drain. No signage on the course telling you where to go. There are a few holes that border some nice houses that were in good shape, but 12-15 of the holes look like a rundown municipal course. It’s a shame, because I heard this was a nice place 10-15 years ago. Again, the people working there were nice, but the facilities and grounds are very poor for a semi-private facility.

It’s 100 degrees and just finished a 5 hour and 15 minute round. Group in front of us had at least 3 holes open in front of them. Made 3 attempts to get a Marshall out and all I could get was “I sent a message to their carts”. Not good.

Had a good time playing here - the greens were a bit rough in spots, but in Arkansas this time of year that is to be expected - I think

Conditions are really hit or miss, been a few times in different times of year and sometimes good and other times not. Fun layout and challenge off the tee, but the pace of play is usually awful. No Marshall enforcing this.
