Stopped first time 11/30 on our way from Tampa to Orlando
We had the tumble weeds (onion straws) & split a steak & cheese sandwich. Tumble weeds were good…huge portion. Steak & cheese was very dry & not enough meat & cheese, just a lot of bun.
Fair prices
Very cute decor
Employees ( & owner?) very pleasant & friendly
I’d stop again but maybe try the breakfast instead

Stopped in to check out a new place while driving around with my folks.
We walked I. And maybe 3 tables were full. Shortly there after, all indoor tables were full and people started sitting outside. (And it was a bit chilly for FL.)
Service was top notch.
Food was excellent.
I highly suggest stopping in and giving this a try!

We had steak and cheese sandwich, fish fillet sandwich, as well as shrimp and grits.

So i ate here twice within the week. I tried a hamburger and asked for it medium and I got it a little.medium rare imo..I was hungry and ate it anyway.

I tried the breakfast Togo and did a omelette with a biscuit and gravy. The biscuit and gravy was the best. I called ahead and they said 15 minutes, I waited about another 15 to get order.

We watched parties come and go before our food arrived. We were told the food is coming out right now 2 times only to wait almost an entire hour before we finally got our food. And then no sour cream for the chicken quesedilla. Food was good enough but we won't be back. No apologies or explanations. I think we were just forgotten.

Great little local restaurant! My wife & I stopped in for breakfast and this is a great place! I definitely recommend the sweet and spicy chicken & waffles! It's not super spicy, maybe on the warmer side of mild, but it's a great flavor....honey Sriracha sauce 😋😋😋😋 the waffles are light & fluffy and sweet....chicken tenders cooked perfectly

While there was a short wait for our food, it was understandable given how busy the restaurant was. The lively atmosphere and friendly locals made the wait enjoyable.

We visited with family and everyone had a fantastic experience. The food was hot and tasty, and the portions were generous.

While the beer selection is limited to canned or bottled options, the overall quality of the food and service more than makes up for it.

We'll definitely be returning to The Butcher Block Kitchen in the future and highly recommend it to others seeking a cozy, local dining experience.

The steak isn't grilled and I'm not a fan of marinade but it was cooked to order. I also prefer carrots and cucumbers in my salad because I don't eat tomatoes. I'll eat here again and try something different. The server was pleasant and attentive. I love the outdoor seating area. I usually don't like green beans but these were good. Please add sweet potatoes to the menu. ☺️
