I need to thank the management for the change. I have played Teal Bend several times annually for over a decade, but it has been three to four months since my last visit. This trip was a pleasant surprise.
- the fairways were in good shape
- most of the tee boxes were in very good shape (a few need some attention)
- the greens were in great shape
- the big thing is the mowed rough - it was long enough to provide the necessary challenge but short enough not to lose a ball

The people process and pro shop were good and helpful as usual. The restaurant was yummy as well (the chicken wrap was great after a hot round of golf).

I am looking forward to a return round.

This is my favorite courses in Sacramento. Bueno tucker and staff keep this course in great shape. The unique feature here is the absence of housing.

Was in town for business and needed to get a round of golf in. The guy at the pro shop was extremely helpful and made sure the course was clear so I could get a quick 18 in. The fairways and greens were in great shape. The sand traps were well manicured and the golf course had a very peaceful feel. I was surprised by the amount of wildlife. Endless turkeys and saw a few deer. I would suggest golfing a twilight round as the sunset compliments this course well. I hope to return to this place in the future. A+ experience.

I just hit some sand and chip shots today. I brought my own balls so no charge! I also had a nice hamburger and refillable soda for $18. Not bad considering it was a big burger. I will be back, beautiful grounds too.

A nice, well maintained course. Plenty of sand traps and water to contend with, but also many wide open fairways. It is a fun course that presents some challenge. The employees and patrons were all very nice, and food at the snack bar was as expected.

I’ve always liked golfing at Teal Bend. The course is well-maintained, particularly the greens. The staff is friendly and helpful. Afterwards, the restaurant is always a good place to relax and have an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage with something tasty to eat. Never a bad experience.

This is a good course and demanding. Play from the white tees unless you are a sub 5 handicap. It has a great layout that will challenge you to think about your placement. I just played my 3rd round there and I still don't feel comfortable in how i approach it. It is kept in good shape and seems inviting. Don't believe it. It will punish you. The greens might putt true and seem wide. They are small, but soft. Hit them and you will be rewarded, but a close miss will be punished. One day I will break 80 there. One day
