Tanglewood Golf and Country Club - Milton, Florida

We recently joined Tanglewood and couldn’t be more pleased. This course is very nice, from the customer service of the staff, to the grounds maintenance, and crew. The course has a couple of clean restrooms to utilize during play. Course has some forgiving fairways, and more narrow challenging ones also. There is some usual and expected seasonal wear on a couple of the greens, due to winter, but mostly the course is well maintained and kept up with proper care. Highly recommend playing here and joining in on the great and fun game of golf!

This was pitiful. Shouldn’t even be a one-star, but it is the lowest it goes so this is what it’s getting.

I have golfed all over the world for 5 years and this is by far the WORST experience I have ever had. I had a group of 8 with me and we got there 20 minutes early so we went ahead and started on the first hole. Before we could even get off the tee box, one of the staff members came up to us and said we have to go faster, which was okay if we were taking a long time to hit, but we just started and were getting through pretty fast. That was the first time so we just shrugged it off. Then, on the next hole, we were approached again. This time telling us that we need to separate into 2 different groups. That wasn’t a big deal because that is the rule, so we split up to 4 in 2 groups. As we kept going on, we would end up getting watched the whole time as we peacefully golfed. We caused no trouble to any other golfers and we did our own thing. One of our groups had to wait patiently to tee-off due to an elderly couple in front of them, which is no problem at all, they are just trying to have a good time like the rest of us. But for the staff to watch us on every hole and come up and repeatedly tell us to go faster after waiting patiently for our turn to go, I think it is nothing short of ridiculous. I don’t know what the problem was, but I do know me and my group were nothing short of respect the whole time. Shame on the staff, shame on the owner, and shame on Tanglewood. 0/10, do NOT recommend.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this golf course. The greens were in terrible condition, full of patches and uneven surfaces which made putting a nightmare. The fairways were poorly maintained, with numerous bare spots and overgrown areas. Additionally, the staff was unhelpful and seemed indifferent to the concerns of the players. The pace of play was extremely slow, with no marshals in sight to manage the flow. Overall, it was a frustrating and unenjoyable round of golf. I would not recommend this course to anyone looking for a quality golfing experience.

This past Sunday I had to pleasure, of revisiting this hidden gem good ol Tanglewood. All I have to say is please make your way out here and truly enjoy a new and improved Tanglewood. The management is as attentive to their guests needs as I have ever seen. The last time I visited this golf course almost a year to the day it was under a different grounds crew. On Sunday ladies and gentlemen was champion cup placement on greens and they running at or about 10.5- 11.5 on stint. The lines were true and the fairways rolled out for what seemed miles. Thank you the the staff on the grounds and also to the guys at the clubhouse. Thank you for hosting my men's group, so rest assured that we will be congregating at your most excellent facility again respectfully I remain and quite happy to have returned,

Great local golf course in Milton, usually not too busy. They are in the process of redoing some of the greens. Nice new carts. They offer an affordable PM membership which allows you unlimited play in the afternoons. The staff is very friendly.

Love the course, love the staff! This course has seen dramatic improvements over the past few years! For the money it’s a great deal!

The operator in the club house treated us like we didn’t belong when we tried to make a reservation, then when we showed up to play, 20 minutes early only for them to rush us as soon as we got onto the first tee box. We had a group of 8 people that we split up into 2 teams to abide by the rule, yet they still sent out someone to make sure we were split up twice. They then proceeded to rush us through the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 9th holes. They also sent out someone to watch us while we played. They were no help to us and didn’t say a word to the people that we had to wait on in front of us.
