Probably the worst golf course I’ve ever been to. The grass was so overgrown I lost balls in the middle of the green! I paid full price only to find out 3 of the 9 holes were under repair. Yes, I understand hurricane Milton hit a week ago, but that’s no excuse for the atrocious maintenance. This wasn’t about a few branches lying around—this course was in absolutely horrible shape. It was my first and definitely my last time here. I played just 3 holes before leaving in frustration. The course is poorly maintained, plain and simple.

To top it off, a maintenance guy actually yelled at me for driving over the tee box. There were no signs, and the same guy had just removed the tee box markers right before I started my 3rd hole—on a Sunday afternoon at 12 PM! I had to wait for him to finish removing everything before I could even start playing.

Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. It’s a complete disgrace to what golf should represent.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at this golf course. We played this course today and was incredibly disappointed with the owner's behavior. From the moment we arrived, he was unfriendly and unhelpful. He barked orders instead of providing any sort of welcome or guidance. The owner of the course was incredibly rude and yelling at my family.
We were simply trying to enjoy a round of golf with our children, who were having a good time and learning the game. The owner began yelling and accusing us of disrupting other players cause we were taking to long. The owner created a hostile and unpleasant atmosphere that completely ruined the enjoyment of the game.
I would strongly advise other golfers to avoid this course. There are plenty of other, more welcoming options in the area. This owner clearly doesn't value his customers and doesn't deserve their business.
The owner was incredibly aggressive and made my children feel very uncomfortable especially when he (the owner) got off of his golfcart and got in my husband's face. My husband did not once get up or raise his voice to the owner and my husband continued to be respectful to him even though he was not respectful to us. My husband is a firefighter/Paramedic so he has more patience and tolerance for people that can be rude than I do.
To make matters worse, he refused to refund our fees despite the fact that our enjoyment of the round was completely ruined by his behavior and we only golfed 9 holes and paid for 18 holes. But he refused to refund us for the 9 holes we did not golf.
I would strongly advise anyone considering golfing here to think twice. The owner's behavior is unacceptable and I will be sure to share my experience with others.

Not the best golfer but had a great time with my girlfriend. We were able to play at our pace and really enjoyed the holes. Definitely will go back!

You can see that this course is fair but challenging WHEN IN SHAPE, but I cannot ignore the fact that this course has OBVIOUSLY seen better days. Not sure what they are doing with the fairways, but they were oddly "white" in lots of areas, and the same confusion goes for the tee boxes because they are either lost and let go or are being treated because they are chewed up. The plus though is that the greens (16/18) were very well maintained and rolled very true. Had it not been for them I would have given the course 1-star. Lovely layout with lots of character - I will definitely be back once they fix these issues. Great little hidden gem of central Florida as soon as they get the ship back on-course.

To say that golfing isnt for everyone, is a understatement lol but to be frank its not a very good place to start off for beginners,im completely new and wanted to hit sum golf balls but i didnt realize theirs others behind you, you might start to feel guilty for taking up time and as well as the course itself, note it was very maintained and beautiful but just to big lol

Pretty nice place to stay, very close to a lot of things without seeming like you're in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful sunrises over Lake Apopka, and the Sandhill cranes were neat to see. All climates on site in the buildings are controlled remotely so bring a fan if you get night sweat. All in all, a good experience staying in very cool little igloos 😁
