I am new to this gym. I have been a member for a few weeks and I love it. The equipment and classes are great and the staff is the best! Angie is super knowledgeable and has been an excellent trainer for me. Really listens and gives options. Daniel made signing up a breeze and I’m loving Zumba with Lara. I’ve been a member of other gyms over the years and would absolutely recommend Snap Fitness to anyone looking for a new gym.

Great gym with plenty of space and variety of equipment. I've been going here for about a year now, and have had nothing but great experiences with the staff and trainers.
The group training classes they offer are a huge bonus as well.

Snap feels like home. The gym and staff are amazing. I love the group classes for additional motivation and fun creative workouts. I like the new equipment and the new space. The trainers are great at keeping me accountable and helping me get to my goals. I love that the gym is clean and open 24/7.

I've had a very frustrating experience with Snap Fitness Placerville that I feel compelled to share. I was injured at work, requiring physical therapy and was recommended to not do any heavy lifting, I called in to cancel my membership. The staff member assured me that they would cancel it and nothing else was required on my end. I assumed the process was complete.

Fast forward almost a year later, and I noticed I was still being charged for the membership. I called back, assuming there had been a mistake, but instead, I was told that my cancellation had never been processed. Worse, they claimed I should have submitted a formal written request or gone through some other complicated process—none of which had been mentioned when I initially inquired about cancellation. I was clearly misled.

After explaining that their staff had explicitly told me a phone call would be enough, they were unsympathetic and refused to reimburse me for the additional charges. Despite providing clear evidence of my attempts to cancel, they continued to insist I follow the formal process and refused to acknowledge their own miscommunication.

Not only is this poor customer service, but it’s also dishonest. Misleading customers about policies just to trap them in ongoing payments is unacceptable. If you’re thinking of joining them, beware of their shady business practices and get everything in writing, because their word means nothing.

Overall, I cannot recommend this gym. There are plenty of other places to work out that will treat you with more respect and transparency.

While I understand your point regarding the written notice requirement, the key issue here is the miscommunication from your staff at the time I inquired about the cancellation process. I was explicitly told that a phone call would suffice, and no mention of a written notice or any further steps was made.

If your team is trained to communicate the necessity of a written notice, then clearly this was not followed in my case, which resulted in nearly a year of charges that could have easily been avoided. I trusted the information provided to me, and I believe it's reasonable to expect clear and accurate communication from your staff, especially when dealing with something as important as cancelling a service.

I would appreciate it if you could reconsider my request for a refund based on the misleading information I was provided. I followed the instructions given to me, and it seems only fair that the mistake on your part should not result in continued charges to my account.

I have attempted to contact multiple times, reaching only the same staff member who was not unable to help me in the first place.

Snap Fitness is my happy place!
My trainer, Tina is a rockstar! Seriously, all the trainers here are awesome! It is super clean, and they keep the temperature very cool, which is great. They supply great supplies for us such as wipes and hand sanitizer. I come pretty much every single day and I have not gotten sick in the year I’ve been here.

Great club,clean, and laid out well. It is also a good price. I was disappointed in the class I took today. Different instructor than it used to be. He didn't do any cool down or warm up.

I spoke with the manager, Daniel after receiving a phone call telling me that I had been training people in their club. I was not training people in the club as I was doing my own out with with my headphones on. I had been into the club on my own with my boyfriend and with a friend, not training people. When I brought up the wrongful termination of my membership, I asked him simply why I would be working out, wearing my headphones and not paying attention to my clients if I were Training. I also pointed out that since I had been laid off from Anytime fitness in June, I have been nothing but an advocate for my members to come over to snap so I would at least be able to see them. When I spoke to the manager Daniel, he was extremely rude and did not really care to hear me out and basically it changed from me Training in there when I brought up the points that I brought previously, and again, I was extremely friendly and spoke to him, it was no longer that issue he somehow had received a mass amount of complaints about me from members. I find this extremely hard to believe considering half of my members from Anytime came over there and I have had nothing but positive interactions with anyone since I stepped foot in that club. I have been wrongfully terminated for my membership, and I am more than willing to go above and beyond to make sure that people are aware that this happened because it is detrimental to my mental health and it is a completely unfair, termination of membership without any proof. I would like to have these documented complaints that have been collected about me, as well as video footage of my time ""training in the gym. I will be reaching out to corporate if necessary and I am going about this in the most professional manner because what was done to me is completely wrong.

Happy and enjoy my workout except I can’t get past the dust and cluttered cubbies looks like the last time it was cleaned was the 4th of July based on the decoration. Staff needs to dust at least every other day.
