Great day at the skunk. Greens were in great shape. Beautiful fall day in October.

Place has so much potential but is owned by an older guy Aka he’s closer to the end so he has zero incentive to spend any money to get this course up to speed. When I found this out it made total sense.

I have never in my life had to “re-setup” on a T box as many times as I did playing here because one foot was in a ditch or on a bump. T boxes are terribly unleveled.

The course? An actual swamp. Ruined a new pair of shoes because of surprise spots that send you almost ankle deep. No, I’m not an idiot and can spot wet spots but this course has some terrifically hidden ones.

My friends and I ended up here as it’s a good halfway point in between us and there’s nothing else north of it. It’s pretty obvious that this place makes money off of people like me and my friends, purely from location.

The staff were friendly and great. To be clear the gripes are with the owner and his lack of care to keep his course in good shape.

If you have the choice to go somewhere else without significantly inconveniencing yourself, do it, this place absolutely sucks.

The only good part about this course was the fact it wasn’t bordering any roads. Everything else contributed to it being the worst course I’ve played. $35 (afternoon rate) + $18 per person in a golf cart is nowhere near what this course should be charging. I don’t think there’s ever been a cart path only day. The fairways were in awful condition and entirely covered in mud. The greens were slow and bumpy. The amount of pot holes on cart path and the course itself was terrible too. Don’t get me started on the range. At that point just put mats out there. You’re not helping anyone by having people hit off of dirt. Avoid this course. Go to windham golf club for this price.

I’m disappointed that I have to write this review but it needs to be done. This course obviously isn’t the nicest but it’s always a good time. However, I have to share my experiences as a woman who has played here dozens of times. The staff is EXTREMELY sexist. I have been asked if I know how to drive a golf cart and how to read the cart signs multiple times when checking in. All those times, the men in line in front of me were never asked. Some of my other female friends have experienced this as well. One time the guy behind the desk asked if she knew how to read the cart signs while her boyfriend was standing RIGHT next to her. On top of that, I’ve seen so many men golf in jeans and a t shirt. JEANS. I have been asked to put on a sweatshirt over my golf top on multiple occasions..same with some of my girlfriends.

I have always loved this course but the last time I played after being told to put on a sweatshirt while the man in front of me was teeing off in jeans…I no longer can give them my business. I’ve obviously experienced this on other courses but this course it has been constant.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Pro shop employee was rude and inappropriate to the women in our group. No carts after 4pm which they won’t tell you until you arrive. Recommend paying the few extra bucks for a better course, we will NEVER return.

Great place to get out and play. 18 hole public course with a fantastic little beer tavern to boot. The staff and pro are always very friendly and make accommodations for short notice tee times. The driving range is full grass, which is good and bad depending on who is using it. It would be nice to have a mat area for those who do not play often.

Poor maintenance of the course, place is a swamp and divots are seemingly are never fixed, got denied a cart on a Sunny day because they had to “fill the carts with gas” but at the end of my round no one was tending to the carts. Many of the greens were patchy and they still charge similar prices to higher quality courses in the area, best to avoid.

A group of us play here in a charity tournament every June. This is a hidden gem of a course. Well maintained. Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. If I didnt live 45 minutes away, I would absolutely play here more often. Not too many sand traps. BUT enough water hazards to make up for it. A good mix of wide open fairways with some narrow ones where you MUST hit the fairway.
