So far, so good! I love that the principal is always involved in every event, she participates and starts conversation with the parents. The teachers I've met are all so good, they have a very open communication with the parents and the students. I had the opportunity to volunteer at my child's classroom and I absolutely loved it! The teacher treated with respect and tended to their individual needs without steering away from the class lecture. The only thing I would change is how PTO works; in my opinion in needs a place of its own at the school website rather than a fb page because not everybody has fb. It also needs a little more organization and perhaps more parents to delegate work. But the school is awesome and so is the staff. My daughter started reading in less than a month within entering K-grade. And I can go on and on about everything I love about SAC but... lol

If you pay attention to what happens to SAC alumni, practically all of them go on to do really well in High School and beyond. Some charter schools aren't worth the added effort, but SAC is one of the good ones.
