In terms of picking up and dropping off customers, this is the worst soccer facility. There is dirt and rubble everywhere, and no asphalt pavement. You have to wash your car every time you arrive at this place. Not only that, you have to deal with dirt from under the front and rear fenders of the car.

"rEspEcT". No sense of mutual respect for your customers, families and target patrons. Also, You want to pay $20 for a jeep trail that takes you to a dirt lot? They made $56k in one weekend in parking fees. The money sure doesn't go back into the parking lot or fields. Not to mention all the other fees. Cancel surf soccer. They want your money with your mouth shut.

Only club that charges for parking to visitor teams during league games and offers no safe drop off area, portapoties as restrooms, no disability parking and dirt parking lot. Is this place about youth sports or only money?

Please be aware!
We were ready to go to another team (Encinitas Express) and I got a call from not only the Surf director, but coach Tony Alcaraz and the Goal keeper coach stating how great my son was and how much they wanted him etc! I unfortunately drank the cool aid and switched to Surf (my son was going onto his 2nd year with Express and was happy there). Once we joined Surf, we realized very quickly what a mistake we made! Tony (the coach) completely ignored me and all the other parents for the full year stating he doesn't need to communicate with us. Not even a simple hello...common courtesy we used to call it! Never communicated with us before or after any games, training and anytime in between.
Our team (2009) started at around 13 players. By the time we were 3 months into training, our original team had added another 5 players and by the time the season started, we had around 25 players on the team. A respectable amount of the original team was benched whilst new players got to play games! I can only assume the new players paid the full price to join too.
On top of this, the additional money spent, (barring the first $3000+ to join) during the year went into the thousands$$$. It became a money gauging experiment and all parents felt this!
Another thing - our team started at the NPL level but we were quickly put up to the ECRL level (higher league then NPL) and throughout the year, we lost so hard against other teams! Us parents had to pay extra to join that league and travel further. This expense was thrown on to us without consulting as at all! So in short - us parents paid more money so our kids could go into a higher league, just to watch our children become demoralized, defeat after defeat in a league we never signed up to!

Please be aware, this organization knows how to pump you and your child up and make you feel special at the start of the year, but once they have your money, your child is just another pawn in the system!!!
FYI - My son was/is a GK and he played 99% of his games but we left halfway through the season (November) because of how bad this org runs its "academy"!

Surf Soccer club is money making enterprise that sells a dream to delusional parents . Many of the coaches are washed up British coaches that are years behind when it comes modern soccer coaching techniques .
Surf eventually attracts the best players because they are the wealthiest club and the wealthy parents can afford to pay extra for outside coaching. This leads to them able to poach the best players from otter clubs.
Coaches idea of coaching is to shout at the kids and throw F- bombs at frightened kids ( I have the videos ) . I have see great players decline after moving to Surf .
Millionaire parents that donate extra to Surf receive preferential treatment and their kids get extra playing time .

A very poor experience. 95% of training sessions cancelled, no communication and a rip off. If you want your kids to prosper seriously consider alternatives as Surf does not have your kids best interest at heart.

Came to play in surf cup, and we got stuck playing in Temecula. What a joke. 105 degrees on bad fields at an old horse track. Talk about false advertising….
