Don't miss the historic memorabilia in the Club's Garty Pavilion. This venerable Rowing club -135 years young - has a top notch fleet of recreational and competitive racing shells. Come visit and enjoy a spin on Mission Bay!

I had the pleasure of rowing at SDRC while visiting from Melbourne. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming...big thanks to staff, coaches and members! The boat fleet is great and water around mission bay is good. The club has members of all ages and levels taking part in the sport. The only part I regret, is that I can't stay and join full time! (But I will certainly come by again every time I am in town). Thank you SDRC

So normally I don't post reviews but after my four day, (2hour lessons per day), I tell you what I experienced. I was a little nervous as I have a scull 1x and only tried it once, and realized that it was going to take a very long time for me to figure it all out. So, I found San Diego Rowing club and booked the lessons. The facility is a mind blower with every type of Sculling boat you can imagine. I was met by Sam our instructor (2008 Olympics) and from the first to the last hour he was hands on, and at the end of the course, I was sculling. Not great but much better than imagined. Highly highly recommend this club as I was met and met amazing scullers. Thanks Sam

This is the go-to spot in San Diego for all things rowing. The summertime has Mission Bay getting pretty crowded, so very early mornings are definitely the best.

If you want to learn rowing, this is definitely the place that you want to do it at. Very good coaching, and a lot of knowledge around the whole place.
