We had the most incredible experience with Sail JADA! I booked Jada for my birthday/bachelorette trip and brought 16 girls aboard. The staff and crew were amazing and treated us like family! They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Carole, Captain Gene, and the entire crew were such pleasant people, I highly recommend!

We did a private charter in July 2024. The absolute best way to spend the afternoon in San Diego Bay. The JADA was a beautiful vessel with outstanding crew. I'm named after the boat, so it has been a lifelong goal to have this experience. Can't wait to get back out on the JADA.

I had the privilege of sailing with JADA as part of a work retreat. We lucked out with gorgeous weather and the perfect amount of wind for smooth sailing around the bay on a crisp December afternoon. The entire crew was so friendly and attentive, indulging all of our questions and keeping our glasses and plates full. They keep JADA in immaculate condition; she's a beauty. I highly recommend this sailing experience for work, friends, family and all.

I had an interesting experience while chartering the JADA this past weekend for my friend's 30th birthday. I will preface this review by saying the crew was FANTASTIC. They were attentive, fun, and salvaged the experience. They are the reason this review did not get 1 star.

I had an overall terrible experience working with the boat owner, Carole. Over email, she was very organized, provided us with ALL of the information, and I thought we would have an amazing boat ride. The day of the boat ride, Carole was passive aggressive, rude, and frankly ruined the boarding experience by stressing everyone out and snapped multiple times at me, the birthday girl's parents, and the other planners.

Her plan for boarding the boat was disorganized and blamed us for the confusion. She had told everyone to meet at the white chair, but let some people go to the boat and load food and drinks, would not let them come back through the gate but had not checked them in and was irritated we did not know where some of our guests were.

When we had all boarded the boat, one of our party planners had tried to quiet everyone down for the safety talk and Carole interrupted to say "I will be giving the welcome talk ok." It was very passive aggressive and made everyone feel uncomfortable.

When she noticed we were asking for cups for drinks, she said loudly in front of everyone, "There is no hard alcohol on the boat. That is one of the rules and it was written on the website." That is untrue. It is not written on the website, nor was it in the email she had sent out. I don't know why she would make that up, and quickly backtracked and said it was okay for us to have hard alcohol.

These are just my experiences. I am aware that she treated some people much worse than me, had made demeaning comments about our profession (we are all healthcare workers), and was rude to the birthday girl's elderly parents. I understand that some people can have bad days and I want to be empathetic to Carole if she was having a difficult time, but the way Carole handled the entire boat-boarding experience was unprofessional and tainted the experience for everyone on board.

I chartered a 3-hour harbor cruise on the Jada as part of my 40th birthday celebration and I couldn't have been happier. Jada's ownership and crew were responsive and helpful; and the sailing was an absolute delight. Jada is a beautiful boat, and very comfortable when you want to take a group of friends out on the harbor.

When we wanted to fulfill my mother's wishes to have her ashes scattered at sea, Carole arranged to use one of these sailboats. Where conditions were not ideal (overcast and chilly) the experience was amazing. Thank you for your professionalism.
