I recently visited Rock Eagle 4-H Center, and it was a fantastic experience! The natural setting is beautiful, offering peaceful surroundings and plenty of opportunities to connect with nature. Amazing facility — inside and out. Especially out! Just such a gorgeous campus.

Efficient dining operation. Cabins are spacious and comfortable, though I cannot recommend top bunks for older folks — without a ladder for safe & easy access, and some kind of storage platform within reach in place of a nightstand, bunkbeds just don’t work for grown-ups — esp. those 50+ yrs old.

Awesome place for a retreat, camp, large multi-day conference. Can’t wait until my next one there!

The food is very low quality, like school cafeteria food. The plumbing in the event center stunk the entire weekend. The facility is nice, the beds comfy and the showers nice.

Sunday brunch with Rock Eagle could be a really great Sunday option because few choices are available in town (Madison, GA) but our visit was underwhelming. Lunch is served from 1130-130 and we arrived at 1245 to empty food trays on the warmers and few choices left. Staff were not forthcoming on whether more food was being brought out. After our initial plates were filled we were shuffled back and forth between the two food stations on either side of the room by staff who were trying to close and break down early. We felt rushed to finish our food and get out of their way. Drink choices are tea, lemonade and water and prices are about $15 per person. We would not go out of our way to visit here again, but with some minor changes, it could become a frequent stop after church in the future.

Great place to go! Went here for a middle school field trip. The staff were great, food was good and much more. We went on a hike up to the Rock eagle historical mound and
saw some exotic animals! highly recommended especially for a field teip.

Try their Sunday lunch buffet that occurs between mid August through November. They serve lunch between 11:30a and 1:30p and cost $14.50 (Cash or checks only), which seem a little high, but the food is excellent and it supports a first class organization/facility. Full buffet includes fruit bar, salads, entree, sides, deserts and beverages. Service is friendly and excellent. We took s drive around the facility and it is quite impressive. Definite worth considering for conferences and attending summer camp.
