I find it incredibly alarming that this is the only ymca that doesn’t not allow a guest pass and requires you come with a member! Just to be a guest! I’ve also called all the surrounding ones and they ALL allow guest passes. All I wanted to do was a couple laps in the pool and was gonna bite the bullet and pay for a month membership only to find out the ONLY way to cancel is a 30 day WRITTEN NOTICED you must hand in. This place is a SCAM and is clearly only meant for people in a certain spending bracket. DO NOT GO HERE. I repeat. WASTE OF MONEY!

I do not recommend. Ashlee King sent me an invoice after a year of not going to the YMCA. No one called me or emailed to let me know that I was still being charged even though I had not been there in over a year. When I asked her for a copy of the contract and a copy of all my visits she would not send these documents. She refused to take the balance off my account, stating that I had to cancel in writing. This is not a family establishment, they prey on the lower class in hopes they forget to cancel so they can charge astronomical pricing. There is no way in gods green earth that I have used almost 900 dollars worth of services, there is no way they have wasted 900 dollars worth of admin time trying to collect. This is the first I am hearing of payment collections. Zero stars they suck and don’t know how to properly reconcile with customers.

Took the family out and used the ball field and playground (which was free to use). Nice amount of land to play soccer, but the ball field was a bit small. Kept kicking the ball over the fence or hitting the ball over, but had a great time. They do have one of the biggest playground around with options for younger kids, however it needs a major update. I would love to see them invest in an accessible/inclusive playground and the driveway needs paved. Although we didn’t use it, I hear great things about the inside facilities as well as their cool splash pad.

The lady at the front desk Theresa was super rude to me today. She had a very bad attitude . I was taking my son to open swim and she mentioned a fee on our account. She couldn’t tell me what the fee was for after I repeatedly asked her. She just didn’t respond to my questions after a while and gave me a silent treatment. Thankfully Ashlee, the membership rep was able to assist me with the issue. The lady Theresa then proceeded to debate if me and my partner were allowed to watch my son swim as he is the only one with a membership. I would never have someone with her temperament and lack of empathy or respect to represent the YMCA at the front desk when the members are the ones paying her paycheck . This brown lady should have definitely treated her own the way she would want to be treated. Seems like she is racist against her own race. Beware of her is all I have to say.

I used to come here all the time as a kid, loving every experience and having no issues with any member of staff. As I've become older, I don't visit as often, but when I do it's only for a few hours.

My experience last Sunday was profoundly absurd in ways I'm still trying to comprehend. Whoever the lady is that works the front desk on weekends (maybe weekends, I only have seen her on Sundays) is a complete contradiction of what the YMCA stands for. I walk in and noticed her in an argument with an older family trying to sort out their membership. All I can hear is "Sorry it's been terminated, you need to talk to a supervisor". They family remained calm and collected, asking questions to help find a solution so they can enter, yet this woman continued to neglect and ignore what they were saying.

Later, I asked gentleman at the front desk if he would be willing to raise one of the goals so we can play basketball, and she interrupts saying "we can't give the raiser to anyone except for coaches", which I respond by saying "I don't want it, I'm asking for help", then reacts with an incredibly smug look on her face...

Lastly, as closing time approaches, we're asked to wrap things up and head out, which we do. The time is 4:53 and I start stretching and packing my things to leave and so do the other players. A younger group of girls and their parents had volleyball practice on the court next to me. This woman is only yelling at us and rushing us to get out, standing and watching as we all pack our things and try to get going. I stretch a little longer than most because I'm a little older and play more often, and during my entire routine, this woman as not taken her eyes off me, making me abnormally uncomfortable, and that's very difficult to do! I point over to the other court where the girls and parents were, and ask her "are you going to yell at them and make them get out?" and she says "no." -- So at this point I'm wildly confused as to why her demeanor and lack of character were so spiteful towards me and others. It's not something the Youth Men's Christian Association believes in (to my knowledge) nor has it ever been an issue in the past.

Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe she was in trouble for being lenient in the past and felt that acting in a more cold and snide way was the only way for her to get her points across. Whatever the underlying conditions were, she must realize that she represents the YMCA and behaving the way she did affects her brand and reputation, as I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way, but perhaps the only one willing to write this long of a message. Hopefully it reaches the right person.

I am noticing they seem to have different rules for different members, so far not very inclusive either.. I keep trying to see if it improves but so far experiences haven’t been great…. I actually had a guest curse me out today because I asked that she please not throw her items on top of our drinks due to our allergies to which is she was rude , we have also had an issue with the one female Lifeguard she’s extremely rude!!
