sus asociados en gran mayoría son personas de edad, quienes frecuentan el club junto con sus familias, por lo que no es raro ver a algunos chiquillos corriendo por los salones o por las zonas verdes.
Cuenta con una gran cantidad de parqueo gratuito.

The clubhouse looks nice ?, but the course itself is just fine.

Not much design here, all straight ahead fairways, but get to see some nice scenaries here, lucky to play here during autumn, the maple trees beautify the course a lot.

Hole 10 is the first hole woke me up, downhill Par 3, couple bunkers around the green, slope on the green, starting to get challenging.

I also like Hole 12, dogleg and slope on the green, that's it.

I have had the opportunity to play over 30 rounds of golf at Peacock Gap in San Rafael. As a club fitter working in the industry and someone who takes golf seriously, I had initially established pleasant arrangements at this club and even referred people for lessons. However, due to several negative experiences, I am compelled to give this place a two-star rating.

Let's start with the positives. The course itself maintains good conditions. The fairways are well-manicured, the greens are usually in excellent shape, and the bunkers are well-maintained. These factors contribute to a generally enjoyable round of golf, allowing players to focus on their game without worrying about disruptive or frustrating conditions on the course.

One of my issues with this course lies in its incredibly slow pace of play, particularly on weekends. The sluggish speed at which rounds progress can significantly diminish the overall experience. This slow rate of play can lead to frustration and hinder the enjoyment of the game.

Furthermore, my interactions with the staff at Peacock Gap have left a sour taste in my mouth. The overall atmosphere feels more akin to a cult than a place focused on improving golf performance. While I used to hold Peacock Gap in high regard, I don’t fully endorse it to anyone seeking a positive golfing experience.

In summary, Peacock Gap Golf Course in San Rafael offers well-maintained conditions, but the interactions have so significantly impacted my overall perception of the course. I’ll still go there sometimes.

Great staff and fellow golfers. Friendly and very organized club culture to make the experience even more memorable. Practice facility is all grass. Got to experience a wedding on the course the same day. Short but challenging course and the greens are in great shape!

Talked to someone really nice online who was helpful however I met a different guy at the course who treated me with very little respect and ignored my questions. In my opinion the club is not very welcoming to younger players like myself as another person began asking excessive questions to his coworker about if me and my three friends were allowed to golf which definitely felt like it was targeted at us because of our age.

People, staff, and workers are all incredibly kind. The golf course is well kept, and the 18 hole course is an easy walk! Also there is a great driving range as well where people can shoot around, and take lessons .
