I recently had the privilege of playing a round of golf at Olde Atlanta Golf Course, and I can't say enough about how incredible the experience was. This course truly deserves its 5-star rating in every aspect.

First and foremost, the course itself is a masterpiece. It's impeccably manicured, and you can tell that the groundskeepers take immense pride in maintaining it to the highest standards. The fairways are lush, the greens are smooth and fast, and the layout is challenging yet fair for golfers of all skill levels. It's the kind of course that keeps you coming back for more, always eager to improve your game.

But Olde Atlanta is not just about the course. The amenities and services are equally impressive. The clubhouse is a welcoming haven where you can relax before and after your round. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that your visit is enjoyable from start to finish. They make you feel like a valued guest, and their hospitality is second to none.

In summary, Olde Atlanta Golf Course is a hidden gem that I'm thrilled to have discovered. The course design does not have "open" feeling. It is a kind of tight for no reason. Especially, 1st hole is a beginning hole and is very long, handicap 1. The green surface is always sandy where other courses with Bermuda grass keep maintain nicely.
They are managing this course like a low-level public course. They don't provide ice bin on the side of the cart. You have to buy at least two drinks. Then they give you the drinks and ice bin. SO WRONG!!

As a member of Windermere/Olde Atlanta golf clubs I was disappointed today (1/2/2023). I arrived at Olde Atlanta to check in an hour before my 10:54 tee time only to be told that the front nine is closed today and we’ll be playing the back nine twice or playing nine holes only. Apparently there is some sort of tree removal occurring on the front nine.

Olde Atlanta often sends an early morning email regarding course conditions, frost delays, etc. Nothing today. Had they done so I might have been able to find an alternative tee time somewhere else. We waited quite some time with four other groups on hole 10 to start our round, some of which were making the “turn”. And, never mind the SINGLE who was not paired with the TWOSOME.

Add to that the fact that the kitchen is essentially closed on Mondays. So, after our much delayed round we couldn’t even get a snack to our liking. For this, I pay over $500/month plus cart fees.

And, add to that the hand painted sign at the driving range indicating “Mats Only”. Can we not spend $50 for a professionally printed sign?

And, add to that the ratty condition of the green in the chipping area. It’s beneath the standards of any self-respecting club.

I spent 20 years owning a company where we strived to provide excellent service. I’m not seeing the same level of service from Invited. In fact, I feel UNINVITED.

Been playing here for several years. Not a bad course at all...not overly challenging, but very scenic. The cart path could use some love, but they re-did the sand traps last summer (2016) and the course is in pretty good shape in general. The clubhouse was completely re-done in the summer of 2015, so that's up to par with big TVs in many places. The staff are excellent, and the food is good too. It's not quite as luxurious as say The Country Club of Georgia, but for a Club Corps course it's excellent.
