Laurent is an exceptional golf instructor who is fully committed to helping you achieve the results you’re after. His patience is unmatched, but what really sets him apart is his persistence in honing in on the details that will improve your game.

When I first came to Laurent, I was a complete beginner—I’d never even played 18 holes and had just recently gotten my first set of clubs. I wanted to learn the fundamentals, and Laurent made that happen in a way that was clear and effective.

Throughout our lessons, he carefully analyzed my swing, identified my tendencies, and created a tailored approach that worked with my background in baseball. This personalized instruction helped me not only understand the techniques but also consistently apply them.

One of the biggest improvements I’ve seen is with my driver. While we focused a lot on chipping and irons, I told Laurent I was struggling with a bad slice on my driver and often had to take a drop. In just one session, he fixed it. Now, my driver is one of my most reliable clubs.

I highly recommend OCPGI to anyone looking to improve their game, whether you’re a beginner like I was or someone looking to fine-tune specific aspects of your swing. He’s truly a fantastic coach!

Laurent has been amazing! My 8-year old son Marz has been training with him every week for the last few months and the results have been dramatic.

Marz has taken lessons from different instructors since he was 5 years old. Laurent gets it… the way he works with my son is like something you would expect to see from a coach a celebrity might hire.

His approach is very unique and IT WORKS. His system with kids is fun, exciting, and integrates “play” into the learning framework. I call him the “Mr Miyagi” of golf.

It’s also important to note the advice and support he offers parents when working with their kids at home between lessons. He is always sending videos, pictures and stats from my son’s lessons when I can’t be there to keep me in the loop. He truly loves the game of golf and is an amazing teacher.

I must also mention the technology he uses is top notch and my son loves it. It shows all his stats on the screen and “gamify’s” his lessons keeping him engaged and focused on improving on what matters.

I highly recommend Laurent. He is one of a kind.

Laurent Denis at OCPGI has a vast knowledge of the golf swing (and the game in its entirety) that I have not come across in my 30 yrs of playing this game. He has a long history in the game; playing, coaching and he even has a unique experience in the professional game (as a caddie on the European tour) as well. While the technical skill he brings to his lessons is invaluable, it is the passion and effort he pours in to those lessons that separates him from all but the very best instructors out there (and after 30 years of playing this great game I have worked with many).

I have been fortunate to call Laurent my coach (and friend) for 8 years now, and not only has my game improved (breaking par is just around the corner) but my love for the game and understanding of it has grown immensely.

Oh ya, and if you are ever coming down the stretch and you need to hit a 30yrd one hop and stop spinner to a 1’ for an easy up and down to beat your playing partner……Laurent is the man to see (I pulled that one off yesterday on 17 to save par and beat my playing partner by a shot! Coach Laurent has helped me play drastically improved golf very quickly. He isn’t trying to stretch things out unnecessarily.

My experience so far - I’ve been “playing golf” for nearly two decades, however have taken on the challenge to really focus and improve since turning 40. For the last 3 plus years I’ve been watching various YouTube (and other social media) tutorials, purchased a range mat, MLM and nets to have a practice area, and spent countless hours at the range to really struggle to break 100.

After an assessment and two lessons, Coach Laurent helped me improve my full swing and iron play drastically. The first round I played since receiving the couple of lessons, I had a six hole stretch at Dos Lagos in Corona with 4 pars and 2 birdies. I’ve continued to have much more consistent ball striking and the tools to understand how to adjust based on the shot results.

I highly recommend taking the instruction. I wish I’d done this earlier. I’m excited to continue the next lessons, particularly around the greens.

This is the best Golf COACH I have had the pleasure of working with. This is far beyond simple instruction he’s the most engaged coach that you could ever ask for. Text message tips, encouragement and follow up. He’s great at adapting to your learning style and making sure you have a clear understanding. I have seen him work with young kids starting golf for the first time to people who have golfed their whole life and want to pick up yardage. He can do it all.
