The view was stunning, and the greens were in excellent condition; they were well managed. The course was challenging but made the game very interesting, which I loved.

Loved the layout of this course. The course was in great condition except for the tee boxes. We were told there were two employee groups playing in front of us. We waited on them on almost every hole. They should have let paying customers play through. Doesn't make sense.

Great course set up. It was a little rough today still coming out of overseeding and the fairway bunkers seem to be being redone. But the tee boxes and greens were good. Greens could be rolled though, they were very bumpy. Worth the time and money spent.

This was the first time I have ever played Oak Quarry GC I have to say this is one of the most impressive golf course I have ever played…the views are amazing. The staff was super friendly and Leon in the Pro Shop went out of his way to welcome me and my guest. You just don’t find that kind of customer service Leon provided anymore. When I come back to the San Diego area again Oak Quarry will he on the top of my list.

Oak Quarry....WHAT AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT! I had the privilege of teeing it up recently at a course that I had honestly never heard of until I did a search for golf courses in the area that I might be able to play during my visit to the LA area. Boy, am I glad I decided to give it a shot.

I have played some of the nation's best...Augusta, Pebble, the Ocean Course, Valhalla, and more. Oak Quarry may never quite fit into that category....but that doesn't mean it isn't a FANTASTIC place to play golf. The guys in the golf shop, especially Leon, were as helpful as anywhere I've ever been. They got me out on the course earlier than planned because I got there quicker than expected. The grounds were in excellent shape other than a few bunker projects they had going on. But it was clear they were doing the work to make those bunkers right again. I watched grounds crew members hustle all over the property throughout the round. I appreciated that and their efforts were noticeable.

As for the overall experience, you just have to go to take it in. The visuals and the sightlines are simply wonderful. There are some great strategic holes that keep you on your toes as well. Good scoring is possible, but not a gimme. But even if your scoring is less than you hoped for, your experience will not be.

This is now one of my top ten favorite courses ever...and that includes over 20+ of the Top 100 courses in America. So....go play. You can thank me later.
