This place is an amazing golf course. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The course has always been in a great condition and it is a fun layout. There are many wildlife to see here like alligators and cranes. I highly recommend this course for an exquisite round with some beautiful environment.

Course was in decent shape but had holes and construction everywhere. Played in season but didn’t seem like it was in “season” condition. Played with 6 people and got in trouble. We apologized and split our group up. The rangers rolled up on us the very next hole because they thought we didn’t split the group and threatened to charge us more after we already paid the $75 to play. We had four of us about to putt and the other two were on the tee box. Rangers are very rude. Won’t be coming back.

The fact that the course is not in “pristine” condition adds to the experience of playing there. It’s a fair test of ability, a nice walkable track - no gimmicks- and the greens are reasonably quick. The staff is friendly and helpful, which earn its five star rating. The minimalistic clubhouse, again, is a welcome change of pace.

Greens fees are reasonable as are the concessions. An overall enjoyable day of golf.

Great course! We played Red-Blue and while the course is not super hard, it‘s fun to play and has some challenges. Condition was very good compared to other courses we played this week. Staff was awesome and super welcoming.

First time player at this fine golf course. Long, challenging, varied, great condition. The two of us were paired with another pair. Bill + Jeff. Jeff was a member and the finest golfer I have played with in the 60 or so rounds I have golfed in my life. They were gracious gentlemen. The conditions were fine, but triple digit cost to play is a deterrent for me. Driving range, putting green all included in price. We took advantage. Wildlife was prevalent throughout the course. Truely breathtaking. The glof carts are programed with multiple features of the course. Very cool. I highly recommend trying this course. 27 hole course Red/White/Blue. We played Red/White today

I’ve played this course a couple of times now and I have drawn my conclusions. The people at the course(meaning the workers) are incredibly friendly and easy going. They are great at making first time golfers feel welcomed. The course conditions vary with the time of year like most places in Florida. You will see lots of wild life including tons of big gators, herons, etc. You will have great open fair ways and the par 3’s are very fun. Overall great course!

The staff was friendly and helpful. It's a bit more expensive than the courses in Rotonda but was worth it in my opinion. The carts are very nice with built in range finders. The grass was pretty good, be wary if you land in the rough. The greens were in the best condition of the courses I've played in the area.

DO NOT BRING YOUR KID HERE!
Booked an afternoon slot with my wife and two kids. Oldest is three and has over 100 rounds under his belt. Youngest is one and a half and has ridden along since week one. Usually, my wife and daughter ride and my son might hit a few tee shots, hit a few from the fairway and make a few putts. Ultimately, my kids behavior on the golf course is better than most kids at restaurants.

Anyways, we get to the course to see that there's only a few cars in the parking lot. Maybe three or four groups out on the course. Staff member that greeted us first asks if I am playing 9 or 18. I say we're going to shoot for 18 but we'll see how the kids do. He tells me to go discuss with the lady inside the pro shop. The lady in the pro shop proceeds to tell me that kids are not allowed because of a liability issue and also, riders are prohibited as well. I say that's a weird thing and something I have not heard before, but say okay. She continues to justify herself by saying its the members that make the rules. She says you can play but if a member asks you to leave that we must do so.... So now I am questioning in my head. Is this really a rule or just something being made up?

We end up playing eight holes in about an hour and get to the ninth to see the cart barn guy and the lady from the pro shop riding out together towards us. They pull alongside us and say we have to leave after nine holes. I ask if a member had complained and they both shook their heads in agreement. Meanwhile, I know for a fact that the closest we got to any other group was maybe 200 yards.

Overall, this was one of the weirdest golf experiences I have had and really, just disappointed and hope this is the only course out there that acts like this. When you are posting $30 tee-times in the most dead time of the year, these actions are disgraceful and pathetic. What really needs to be said to the miserable person willing to take the responsibility is that you are hurting the game of golf. You're lucky my family is always around the game and know how most people actually conduct themselves. How would this effect a family that was new to the game of golf?
