Really nice features here. Great children's area. Wonderful butterfly garden. Peaceful and relaxing. Well kept. Nice selection. This library is small but quaint. Helpful staff. Overall a great stop on our trip.

So much to do for all ages! There was a crochet club that was packed! We were there for the dinosaur exhibit and our 2 year old grandson loved it!

Spent some time here today , and upon entering I was never greeted once while approaching the circulation desk. Each employee just looked at each other like I wasn't standing there, kinda stolic and disengaged, maybe 🤔 being a Saturday idk, ..So thanks for initially ignoring me Emma, Anna, and Chris. Do better next time. It's a job, but also an adventure. And I promise if you smile 😁😊, it won't break your faces ❤️ 👀. This review was two weeks ago. And today we came out for an event. Around closing time, 3 employees approached my son 3 separate times telling him it's time to close. To which he responds each other time I'm waiting for my mom, she's in the restroom 🚺. To which the last gentleman who was told the same thing responds. "Well you will have to wait outside". . "We will just call him Chris" What is it Mt. Dora with your employees. Or is this your format for low standards on the weekend? Or is it a Saturday thing? They really need to retake customer service 101. Because I told my son to wait for me there in front , untill I returned.

update: library is very spacious. the wifi here is good but can be slow if a lot of people show up all at once. Great place to study.

I have refrained from writing this for the past two years but it has to be said. I’ve always known the library to be a place where one is quiet and can relax. However, it seems that the W.T bland is no longer that. Instead, it is an indoor park for parents and children, leaving no where for others to read and study. It's very upsetting having to leave the place primarily for those who need a quiet place, to go and find a coffee shop that delivers just that. On my latest visit, I've noticed parents letting their children have full meltdowns in the library or running and screaming down the halls near the study room. I have also noticed parents who have taken the time to quiet their children or carry them out when their meltdowns ensue-not letting them 'cry it out' in the middle of the library floor. I am always grateful to see that as it's not the norm. I feel bad for the people who come here to minimize distractions only to find this is even worse.

Love this library, my son does too. Such a great lay out of children's books. Always seem so helpful and with the great new changes I'm excited to see them when they are finished.
