The best gym in the area, hands down! I've been a member for over two years, and I can honestly say this gym consistently exceeds expectations. The facility is always spotless, the staff is incredibly friendly, and there's rarely ever a wait for equipment. What really sets this gym apart is how quickly they address any maintenance issues—something that's unfortunately rare in the fitness industry. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-managed, clean, and welcoming place to work out!

We love this gym! The childcare at this specific location is the best we’ve ever been to. Jessica is wonderful with our little ones and genuinely cares. It’s quite literally changed our life since having children!! The gym is clean, management is great and the workout classes are an added bonus.

Great gym unless you are a women who cares about/is paying for locker room amenities. The sauna has been broken for over a month. The steam room works about 1 in 3 times I go. Towels are a crap shoot in the women’s locker room after 7 pm. I’ve been to all three North Phx locations in search of a working sauna and steam. Great gym in you don’t care.

Hello, my name is Harry, I have mild autism and a nonverbal learning disorder. It is often hard for me to communicate with others. This is not the case with Mountainside. The staff are highly trained in the art of customer service. Each member takes the time to learn the person coming into the gym's name and greets them with their name and a smile.

The individuals who stick out to me the most when I go into Mountainside are Jazmine and Ryan. The managers worked hard to train these employees well. I always see them folding towels and finding something to do when they are working.

Ryan provides a chill vibe and engages and wants to know and hear about what the customer going to work out has to say. He was interested in what I am currently doing in my life. He is well-trained in the art of customer service.

The management team is highly trained and will also say hello and greet people coming into the gym. I often see the managers doing other jobs like cleaning up the locker room. The managers don't act like they are too good to do certain tasks and work with the team to get everything done.

I look forward to my next trip to the gym

I thought it necessary to update my review since I have witnessed a remarkable improvement in what is already a very good gym. I have been a member here since this location opened several years ago and I have noticed a significant turnover in the staff. However, the appointment of Justin as general manager is by far the best development for Mountainside and its members.
Justin is a skilled manager and it is obvious that he has the respect of all the employees at Mountainside. In addition, Justin takes the time to talk to individual members and obtain their feedback on their experiences and expectations at the gym. In turn, the members here feel that their patronage of Mountainside is appreciated and valued.
This facility is about a year old and well maintained. The staff are very attentive in keeping the place clean, which is especially important during the COVID pandemic and I have no qualms about the safety of facility. The staff are also friendly and professional.

Joined this gym for a week and immediately canceled our membership. The gym feels overwhelming. Staff is rude. Equipment thrown everywhere, feels unorganized and chaotic. The gym is so small it feels claustrophobic working out almost touching elbows with a stranger. The only organization there is the cardio area.
I will say the amenities are amazing but not worth the steep price. Very disappointed.
