I absolutely love this race every year! The hills are challenging but fun, the course is beautiful and the community is so great! Plus the hype at the start and finish is always the best between the stilt walkers, pancakes, photo booth and Santa Claus himself 😍

This is one of the best half marathons I have participated in! It’s Challenging due to the elevation changes along the way, but very beautiful. It’s so festive since it’s around the holidays. Friendly faces of neighbors and supporters can be found scattered along the way to cheer on the athletes. At the end the party is super fun. The medals and shirts are high quality. I have only great things to say. I can’t wait for next year’s race!

What a great and well organized event! I have taken part 4 times, and the event just keeps getting better and better. The designs, medals and post race activity which had pancakes last year capped off a festive run. The course is wonderful, with many hills and valleys over 6 miles, then the course tends to level off for the remainder. There is great local crowd support with many festive holiday decorations throughout the neighborhoods. One of my favorite parts is passing the "starry night" home in the final mile. That's when you know you aren't far from the finish which concludes with a downhill sprint to the end!

Great race, professional staff, and a fun time. I had such a great race following one of the official pacers, and he helped me PR my Half Marathon Distance by almost 10 minutes. If you are a beginner, don't let the hills scare you away. The uphills are tough, but the downhills really give you a chance to catch your breath. Plus, the scenery helps you take your mind off of it.

Such an incredibly fun race. The volunteers and staff name it a lot of fun. The locals come out to cheer, sing, and DJ along the course. The elevation changes are enough to be challenging but it is so much fun and very well organized.

A very well-coordinated 5K so close to home! The race course was interesting and well delineated. Plenty of water stations and shade. I will definitely be attending next year! Also, you can wear Christmas attire (many did).

I’ve been in love with this town since I moved to Florida in the late 80s. Many years later after discovering they had a half marathon I was all in… several times. This event is everything you’d expect from a BIG city race and more. Come see why it’s hands down my favorite half marathon.

Such a beautiful and festive event! Gorgeous course, with neighbors outside cheering, handing out water and aid and even caroling!! We run around a large lake and finish with a steep downhill....Weeeee!
