I appreciated how she took the time to give personalized feedback, ensuring everyone felt confident in their abilities.

This is the top place to learn Argentine Tango in the Bay Area. Jessica and Gustavo are professional dancers skilled at their craft and are great instructors. They teach technical skills as well as the more nebulous spirit of dancing. The studio is spacious, the vibe is friendly and the students are welcoming. Highly recommend this place for all levels.

I've been taking Hip-Hop classes here for about 4 and a half months and it's been wonderful! The teachers are really good and the choreographies are varied and the right mix of challenging but manageable. The owners of the studio are very kind and create such a welcoming atmosphere. And the other students at the studio are very open and supportive. Starting as a beginner, this studio really helped me create a solid dance foundation, improve greatly, and get more confident in dance!

Heather is an excellent instructor for WCS. She provides the teaching and the space to practice, but more importantly the emotional safety and time to ask questions and gather feedback and caters to the details we may need on an individual level. The class size helps but i think Heather's expertise is in this aspect of being a humble and patient leader/instructor. Would recommend this class to anyone i know!

Instructors Jesica and Gustavo, at Motion Arts in San Mateo, exhibit consummate elegance, as professionals in the art of Argentine Tango. As a beginner, I have found inspiration in the authentic and accessible teachings of this art by both instructors. There are different levels of instruction with some very talented students, the dance floor is fantastic, surrounded by bars and mirrors, and the salon is well lit for perfect execution and ambiance while in practice. I have found a new home for dance expression and anticipate many years of exploration in beautiful art of Argentine tango at Motion Arts
