This place is a POS. DO NOT believe the photos. The only way I can explain this place is a permanent living place. Dog poop everywhere. No water front place. Roads are all dirt and no communication with the office.

0 ⭐️ Worse place ever.

We wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and wont ever go back. We were to stay there for 3 nights 2 days and left right when we woke up.

I called and told them why we left and they never came to talk to us and they never even called me back. I’ve

They is nothing in the town to do. You would have to drive an hour to Panama City to do anything.

The pictures on the website do NOT give you a true understanding of the “resort” at all!!! I understand the entirety of Mexico Beach has struggled to rebuild from the hurricane, but be honest with your representation on your website. It looks like a junkyard or building site in all areas of the park. The pictures show nice neat gravel sites…I couldn’t really see gravel. The grass was tall, you couldn’t walk around our site without stepping on animal poop. You couldn’t really tell where to stop your camper within what you thought was your site. There was a stump at least 8 inches tall right where you normally lay out your rug. Our door lined up almost exactly across from the neighbor site’s sewer hook up. Normally the sewer site is near the rear of the site. The pool is a smaller residential size…a man on a larger float basically took up the majority of the pool.

My husband was afraid to leave me, my grown daughter and 2 grandchildren. We luckily found a spot at the wonderful Coastline Resort in Eastpoint so we got out of there after 1 night. There was no way we were comfortable letting my grandchildren run around and play.

I know the website and the person you talk to tells you there is NO refund, but when your website pictures don’t represent the actual place…isn’t that fraud. We lost a chunk of our vacation fund since we had to pay for another place that was decent for the next 8 nights. Region’s should be given as long as there is misrepresentation!!!

Do not look at the photos and expect this camp ground to look the same - it is not. After a devastating hurricane a few years almost every tree is gone, the office is old and dirty, overall unkept grounds. For the price this is not a bargain and was terribly disappointing.

We stayed for 3 nights, for July 4th weekend. Our RV location was great, people were friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and the kids enjoyed it. There was a place to park the trailer we hauled our motorcycles down in. All the hook ups worked without issues.

The only downfall that could be an issue, but wasn’t for us, it is a mile walk to the beach. I enjoy walking and was able to log many miles. If you bring a car or golf cart, you won’t have any issue.

There is a market a couple minutes walk from MBRVR. If you need ice, food, etc., they got you covered.

We had a great weekend and will definitely be back!

After reading all the post hurricane Michael reviews I have to admit I was pretty nervous following through on this reservation. But no refund means no refund so we went. Bottom line, the hook ups worked, the sites were spacious, it’s not far from the beach. It was too chilly for a pool but it was open and looked cleaned. We were there to visit the beach, not sit in a campsite, so I have to say our visit wasn’t bad at all. The two negatives that led to a 4 instead of 5 star review: we wanted to do our laundry before we hit the road and the laundry room was locked up. Wasn’t a huge deal but if we had been planning to stay longer, that would have disappointed me more. The second was minor, they advertise a little tiki bar action out by the pool. Nothing, crickets. We can drink on our own in the camper but sometimes those events can be fun, meeting new people. But if that’s all I could find wrong, then I’d say we made out well. Hoping this negates all the negative experiences from previous posters.

FKA Rustic Sands, the Mexico Beach RV Resort has been making a comeback since Hurricane Michael. What you will not see is beautiful landscaping and lots of shade trees; the hurricane took care of that. However, what you will see includes level, easy-to-park spaces, FHU, clean bathhouse, and lots of peace and quiet, for the most part. Staff are friendly and helpful. There appear to be permanent residences within the campground, and one man in particular had large, barking dogs staked out in his "yard." The canal next to the campground has a lot of trash in it, but I don't think that the owners of the campground have anything to do with that. Sandspurs are a problem in the campsites, so don't walk around barefoot! Overall, though, we enjoyed the quiet and the proximity to the beach.

First and foremost stay away! When I booked early February of 2023 for June 29-July 6, had to pay up front non refundable (I understand it was a holiday week) spoke with Wanda I guess she was manager, very nice on the phone she our site would be 28. When we arrived on the 29th they put us on site 64, no big deal right! Yes it was. The front of our camper faced the front of our neighbors camper, thank heaven they were a great couple because that was our view. The breaker didn’t work but it was fixed immediately, no picnic table on site at all, my husband ask if they could furnish one , yes they said, needless to say no picnic table at all during the entire stay! When I booked I asked how far the beach was and Wanda said about a block away no it was not . It was a new experience for us to visit Mexico beach needless to say we will not be back. This definitely is not a resort and the new ownership needs to get their sh$$ together! Should have read more reviews.
