Ann is an incredible instructor. Her and JP run the premier waterski lake in the US. I go once to twice per week on average and could not be happier with the results and progression of my slalom skiing. If you are in the area and looking to waterski/wakeboard or even take the kids tubing, I highly recommend that you go to McGinnis. You will not find a better lake or value for what they are offering. They have all equipment for anyone coming from out of town and make it a great experience regardless. Do note that you must schedule an appointment prior which is very easy by contacting the number on the website. 5 stars all around!

The instructor was friendly and kind and a real pro. She gently taught each of our kids to ski, driving and advising as necessary. She has taught thousands of people to ski, and could see at a glance how they needed to adjust to do better.

Very kind, and clear communication!
We ended up not being able to go skiing with them but I was in communication with Ann for a little bit and she was amazing to deal with! I felt so bad canceling and very bummed we didn't get to meet these folks in person!

My daughter tried wakeboarding in the past and was unsuccessful at getting up on long line. Upon a recommendation from a friend we went to see Ann for a lesson for my daughter and to do some kneeboarding myself. My daughter got up on the boom after two tries and was long lining within 15 minutes. Facility is very accommodating to beginners and advanced skiers like. I would recommend McGinnis to anyone who wants to have a great experience! Thank you again Ann for everything! 5 Stars doesn't come close if it was up to us we give you 10 Stars! You have given my daughter and myself a memory that will last us a lifetime! We can't wait to see you again on our next trip down to the Fort Lauderdale area! God bless!
