Truely a hidden gem! I was looking for a place to work out when I was in the keys for a month. This place is very clean, has a lot of machines, TRX and free weights. It isn't a meat head type of place but had everything I needed and the staff was wonderful. I was able to take a couple of body art classes, aerial yoga and spin with Julie and also a spin class with Melissa. They were wonderful! Gail at the front desk was also great to work with and the locals were very friendly.

Simply a great place to work out. Spit polish clean, wide array of machines, rarely/never crowded, and importantly an absolutely wonderful staff (pictured) who honestly want your every visit to the Wellness Center to be perfect.

Very clean been coming to this gym for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience. If your looking for a gym in the Tavernier - Islamorada area i highly recommend checking this one out.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I especially love the “Fit for Life” class. Drew is an incredible instructor, very knowledgeable and motivating.

There are only 2 "major" gyms I know of in this area (this one, and froggys) and this is my favorite of the 2. It's open to the public, so you don't have to be a patient or anything, and it isn't very big, but it does have a lot.

Pros/what it has:
- good selection of cardio equipment, including indoor rowers
- good selection of pin loaded machines
- Dumbbells that go to 100
- dedicated stretching area with yoga mats/pads and foam rollers
- water fountains (normally wouldn't mention this, but froggys doesn't have any)
- bands and accessories (dip belt, therabands, incline board for calves, etc)
- lots of cable machines
-TRX/suspension trainers
- Trap/Hex bar
- the bathrooms are insanely nice and clean
- lockers and showers
- lots of group classes included in membership
- cheaper than froggys

my only real complaint (which is why I didn't give 5 stars) is that there is only 1 rack/cage that serves as both the only squat rack AND the only place to (barbell) bench press

aside from that, there are also only 2 additional adjustable benches by the DBs (so 3 benches total, as opposed to Froggys which has 3 bench presses, 2 squat racks, and 4 or 5 benches by the dumbbells)
