This place blew me away. So many different types of tea blends! The presentation was done well and it was so much fun going through all their testers! I’ve never seen such a huge tea shop before with so many custom blends. Had a blast in here.

Amazing! I’m so pleased with everything to do with magic hour. From start to finish- my ordering process was easy and straight forward. The website details are impeccable. I had a hiccup on my end with receipt. I was able to connect with customer service which was a true pleasure they assisted my needs with impeccable timing. my package wow o wow the presentation is phenomenal. Most beautiful package filled with love and magic. I can’t wait for my next order. And one more thing the most flavorful tea I’ve ever tasted like ever!!!! Bravo magic hour bravo!!!!!

What an amazing experience Magic Hour tea is! My husband and I were in Ojai last week and I had my first cup of Magic Hour tea at a restaurant and I was blown away! I asked about how to purchase it and ended up at the Magic Hour store, which is in itself a fabulous experience! The store is beautiful and contains a wonderful and extensive variety of teas, with beautiful tea packages. The people who work there are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The Magic Hour blends of tea are unique and most of all, delicious! There are so many to choose from. I ended up with about 10 different teas and gifts for a couple of people. I love this tea!!

I have been reading the reviews because I want to try more of Magic Hour teas. My first tea was Bohemian Breakfast and I have to say it was not as strong as I expected, but I try “Vanilla Comoro” from another brand and the result was the same. Second before “Bohemian Breakfast” I was drinking “Black Cask Bourbon” from another company again which explains why I was expecting that strong flavor. I realized after trying a third company Breakfast blend where not my cup of tea, but once again it helps to use a Non-dairy milk to keep the flavor in your tea and all you need is literally a few drops to enhance the flavor of your tea, same goes with honey. Going back to the reviews I believe people focus on Customer Service which is clear that is a row in which Magic Hour has to work to give a better experience. But overall I think their teas offer great benefits to your health, good price and believe me their shipping process is way cheaper than many companies. They prepare their blends when you purchase for a fleshly service. I see many people love their blends and tea world is a world to explore, which is why I would probably go back to “Bohemian. Breakfast” and try more of their teas specifically the ones with Lion’s mane and other awesome healthy ingredients. Because at the end I discovered “Bohemian Breakfast” is an awesome tea I was just starting my journey into teas and now I understand coconut milk would be a better flavor enhancing for my teas.

Magic Hour tea is not only delicious, but it is truly formulated for wellness. I have noticed a remarkable difference using their tea, especially Queen of Wellness & Aquamarine Dream. Excellent customer service, as well! 10/10 recommend.

The tea is amazing but, you better hope you don't need customer service.

I had a premium tea subscription with the violet jars. I've received several jars and never had an issue.

This month, November 2023, I received my tea jar and it won't open. Yes I cut the sticker, and usually once you do that it opens easily.
This jar is closed so tight when my husband tried to open it the glass lid broke.
We still can't get to the tea and now if we still try, we are going to cut our hands.

I have attempted to email 3 emails given by Magic Hour, no response and it's been a week. I've called the customer service numbers and they aren't active.

I am cancelling my subscription.

Update*

After the original review, customer support got back to me and sent me a new jar of tea.

The teas are very yummy and good quality. I may order again but I did cancel my subscription since getting to customer service is so hard.

I hope this is a side of the business they choose to improve

They use AI for their customer service now, which DOES NOT help to find out if you have allergies and you need to know if there are allergens in their tea. Prior to using AI, they had people (who now I suspect might have been bots), that responded extremely poorly to customer service inquiries. For example, I once asked why the shipping had increased on their monthly subscriptions and I received a lecture about how they are not Amazon and do not offer free shipping - bear in mind, I never asked for free shipping, I asked when they had increased their shipping costs, since they increased them with no notice during one month and the cost of my monthly subscription went up.

Additionally, this location only sells their tea - you can't try their tea, you can only sniff and buy it here. I was expecting a tea house where you could order a cup of tea and buy their blends, but that is not the case here.

The company, overall, needs to decide what they want to do - either they are "magically" connected to their consumers, filled with "love" and "light" and "caring", or they are simply over charging for tea, with little or no connection with their consumers at all. Very disappointed with how their customer service has tanked in the last year, and now they are using AI.

Even more disappointed that they are now charging a monthly membership fee to have early access, discounted shipping and other stuff. Why would I pay $11 a month without getting a product? They want to charge you to have access to look at tea early? That is insane and greedy.

Back to one star - they are using AI still for customer service and as a result an order I placed was cancelled not once but twice. Using AI for customer service is awful.
