This week CJ organized a fun doubles tournament for the junior program. 4 teams of 4 players spent the afternoon laughing and sharing on the courts. The juniors all get along so well from many different communities. CJ being the leader of this pack of club’s tennis future players deserves credit for inspiring these players in their love for the game.

First time for this club. Had a great time playing tennis. Lighting is excellent, the courts are well maintained. Temperature is just right for indoor courts. Staff is very friendly. Pricing was very fair during Christmas break - will definitely return and would recommend.

We have been attending Ludlow Tennis Club for many years and our daughter has taken lessons here for over ten years with CJ. The club and all employees are so welcoming and professional. The courts are also in great condition. The coaches and pros all care for the whole child when dealing with student athletes. We are very happy with our decision to play at LTC!

And now there is pickleball!

LTC has always been a great place to play tennis, I’ve been playing here for years. And now there are 4 pickleball courts available. We’ve got a pickleball contract this year - 13 of use contracted for 2 pickleball courts once a week. 10 of us show up each week and we rotate 2 players in and out and play for an hour and a half. It’s a blast, we always have fun. Check out pickleball at LTC.

Don’t bring your child here if you don’t want your child thinking they “are dangerous” at 4 years old.

I went to the Tennis Club to meet a friend of mine. He was bringing his 1 1/2 year old, and I was bringing my 4 year old so they could hit a ball around together on a court, as well as my 15 month old. I had never been to the club, but my friend had numerous times as he is an avid tennis player. He had called and confirmed several times that it would be fine that I come to the club as a “non-member” with my son , to which he was told and reassured several times that there was no issue. He was told every time he called to confirm that there was no issue, and that we could pay a group rate. When I first arrived to the club to meet my friend, I was met by two very pleasant women at the front desk. They told me what court my friend was on, and gave me directions to it. I asked them for directions to the bathroom for my 4 year old son, to which they politely and gladly gave me. Immediately after receiving these directions from the two young women, -an older woman standing behind them who was identified as only “CJ”, asked me if it was my first time at the club. I said that it was, to which she stated I needed to complete a “group waiver” form. I was handed the form, to which I started to sign. While signing this form, “CJ” immediately began to state that my friend “should have told them we were all coming to the court today”. I said to her that my friend had called and confirmed several times. “CJ” stated “we had no idea your friend was going to bring his son today.” She then stated “well how old is he”, while pointing to my son. I stated he is 4. “CJ”, while looking at my child, then said, “this is a very dangerous situation” and “he should be wearing a mask as he is clearly unvaccinated.” “CJ” at this time stated she was “going to go down to the floor to speak to my friend”. I literally could not believe the way my child, or myself, were being treated. I immediately told “CJ” not to go down to the floor, and that I would call my friend. I then immediately left with my two children, as did my friend who has gone to the club for several years. After leaving, all my four year old kept asking me is “why am I dangerous?”.

I can honestly say I am completely and utterly disgusted with the way my friend, his child, my children, and myself were treated by “CJ” at the Ludlow Tennis Club. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I will never return again to this establishment, and would never recommend it to anyone with a family.

Enjoyed the fellowship and fun derived from playing tennis. Tennis is a full body workout, much better than attending a gym for fitness. TIME SPENT PLAYING TENNIS WILL NOT BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR LIFE. OLANDER WORTHY
