Great golf course, they often have music and other activities such as trivia night, and the new restaurant is doing great, they have a limited menu , but there is something for everyone and the food is good.. reservation are highly recommended on music and trivia nights...a great time will be had by all!! Guaranteed!! LACC has the nicest people, super friendly... come and enjoy !!

Didn't golf, but had dinner outside in a to go box. Not their full menu, but it was good. Service was fine.
Katherine was the bartender and pours a very nice drink. It's a good pour, so you know there's alcohol in it unlike other places. If you want to have a relaxing meal overlooking a beautiful place, go to Clifford's. And in the Pine Cone Lounge, look for Katherine to make you a yummy drink.

We have been renting a house here for the past 12 years. We love the recreation areas, the lake is perfect for swimming, boating and relaxing. We stay in a different house every year and we love the vibe of the community.

LAGC is a beautiful full length 9 hole course, winding through the forest on the Lake Almanor peninsula. Play in the late afternoon and you will be sharing the course with many deer. The course is very well maintained, with a great clubhouse and outdoor deck, and a friendly staff. It has a driving range. The course is not too difficult, but you don't want to stray too far off the fairways on many holes. Overall, a very enjoyable place to play a round of golf.

Beautiful well manicured tree lined golf course. Bent grass greens were in perfect shape after the invitational tournament held here in mid July 2018. All my putts rolled true on every green. I would rate the greens at a 9 or 10 on the stimpmeter for early morning. Bunkers looked like they all had "fluffy" sand. Narrow fairways but manageable if you play smart. I walked 9 holes starting at 7:30 a.m., and finished a few minutes before 9:00. The only difficult walking hole was #9 which was a steep climb for almost 175 yards, otherwise it was a very easy to walk.

0 stars. Had to deal with Deb today at the pro shop and oh man…. definition of the typical “Karen”. I had just gotten engaged (at the club itself) and my Fiancé wasn’t allowed to ride with me because they didn’t allow spectators. I finally got Deb to allow my Fiancé as my “caddy”, and pay a full green fee. Was happy to do this if she could watch me play. What happened after was really awful. Deb then decided to tell everyone that we caused the whole course to get slow, repeatedly, in a passive aggressive tone to other patrons whenever we were around. I’m a 4 handicap and have been playing competitive golf for 15 years all over the US. We were not behind pace. If you want to get ridiculed by Deb and feel a very unwelcoming vibe, then you should play this course! Otherwise, go down the road and play Bailey Creek. Killer Greg, the head pro at Bailey, will welcome you and your friends(or spectators) with open arms like a golf course should. The greens roll better/faster there too.

had a horrible experience due to the golf "pro" inability or unwillingness to listen. two groups ended up on the same hole due one group agoing to the driving range and then coming back in on the last few holes. we all new the rules and were not holding any groups up in fact the closest group to us was two holes behind but he insisted that we were all playing the same hole even though only four people had clubs in there hand after having to explain several times he finally told us to go ahead and finish only to call security and have both groups told to leave. over 40 years of golf and have never had anything like this happen in fact never even seen it. extremely unprofessional and unfriendly way to treat paying visitors as well as owners. maybe he was just having a bad day but seemed more like he was on a power trip to show who was in charge even though he didn't have the guts to ask us to leave himself. next time we will take our entire group and the money we spent in the pro shop buyng shirts hats balls and shoes (i forgot mine) and visit some of the other more friendly courses in the area. very disappointed don't live there but have played that course more than a dozen times. let me know when you have a true golf pro. i will come back and play again.
