Great place for lap swimming all year long. Pool equipment has been recently upgraded and temperature stays consistently around 82F. Accessible for early and late swimmers. Lanes are reservable. Also the swim instruction is top notch catering to both children and adults.

A hidden gem for families who enjoy tennis and swimming. Unlike other tennis facilities tennis courts are generally available. Maybe because the club membership is limited to ~250 families who are also the joint owners.

Moving Company

We have been members since 1998 and the facilities are fabulous. There is an "initiation" fee that you will mostly get back when you sell but that is due to market conditions, so it is possible you could lose money on the transaction. That said, the quarterly fees are quite affordable when you compare this place to other clubs. I would gladly pay twice as much in quarterly membership fees. Why? Because unlike other clubs, Kona Kai is never over-crowded. If you want to go swimming in the morning or evening, unlike a 24 hour fitness where you will likely have to share a lane, that just doesn't happen very often here. Obviously in the summer it is more crowded, but if you swim early ( before 10 am) or late ( after 7 pm), there is never a problem. Try that at 24 hour fitness where I am also a member strictly for the weights and for the basketball gym.

Every once in awhile, there is a wait for a tennis court, but that is rare as well. The facilities are very well maintained and clean. The bathrooms could use an upgrade, and they are planning on doing that, but other than that, the place is fabulous.

One other great aspect of Kona Kai is that the pool does not over chlorinate ( unlike 24 hour fitness once again). It is a pleasure to swim there.

So if a membership is available and you can buy in and stay for 5 years, then the very affordable quarterly fees basically make this a great deal.

Hidden gem. Perfect for tennis players. Always easy to get a court, rarely is there a waiting time - no need for reservations. Also great for families with young kids - lots of social activities going on. Very reasonable monthly fee.

Great family club for tennis and swimming. Very casual atmosphere. We've spent many a summer afternoon hanging around the pool or playing tennis with friends here.

It's at the end of a residential cul-de-sac so you will never find it by accident. Truly one of Silicon Valley's undiscovered gems!

This is a private sports club. Located for Westwood Oaks home owners. There is a pokemon gym located here and plenty of free parking to stay for a few minutes.
