Offering great value for money, on both the tasting/visit and the price of its wines, this a Sonoma winery worth visiting.

We came from Paso and unbeatable were shocked from the Napa/Sonoma region prices for tasting. Kenwood is on a lower price point of this region price range but what drove us here is wines they offered. Varietals are what we prefer and we decided to give it a try.
While most of the wines were more acidic than our liking, what really drove experience down is that person who was pouring wine was here just to pour wine. We had to ask all the questions in order to get any information. How was it aged, where was it sourced from, what is this winery relationship with winery you are sourcing from, what varietals you have on a property, who is your winemaker, how long this winery has been on this property, etc. Unfortunately I didn’t feel their pride in the product, maybe we didn’t get lucky, maybe it’s the norm here.

We came to Napa/ Sonoma for the weekend from miami and had a few places reserved but wanted to wing it and find spots when we go into town! We ran into this spot on an advertisement on a map in the plaza area and called our attention so we called and set the reservation! Oh man! We are glad we did! Such a beautiful property and relaxing! The staff treatment was amazing! The wines we had were all great! We had a tasting of several different red wines and we loved them all! Our host, a young man was outstanding, humble and very knowledgeable! I can’t remember his name but please make sure he knows we appreciate his time and attention!
We will definitely be back next time on the west coast !

We spent an extended 4 day weekend in Sonoma and Napa where we had booked tastings in advance with a lot of big name vineyards. Stopped by Kenwood and immediately the quaint and laid back atmosphere was apparent. Staff was cued in on customer experience rather than just “working”. Lynn took care of us and was an absolute pleasure to get to know. Nowhere were we taken care of better…. Such a great and relaxed atmosphere!

sometimes a place is great because of the place itself, or the food, or the wine, or the people. Memories, to me, are made when these different special qualities come together to create something unusual. We have tasted in France, Spain, and Tuscany .. The wines at Kenwood are unusually delicious and different. The tasting room is fun with great views of the vineyard... but what turned the experience from good to unique was Lynn, who guided us through our flights. With a warm smile and quiet, unassuming wealth of knowledge, she elevated the two hours to something educational but relaxed and conversational.

I took a girls trip to California and we went to all types of winery’s. Kenwood Vineyards is one of my favorites! We had a great time thanks to Lynn. Lynn was great! She went all out for us. The outside was gorgeous, and the wine was great!
