Great golf course, beautiful day, now if only I could have played better!

A friend told me, "Be prepared to putt a lot." He was not joking. The undulating greens are challenging but fun. Really, the entire course is challenging yet playable. My drives were all over the place (left, right, and middle), yet most could be found and we're playable.

There is a good chance I will make this my home course next season.

Really fun, hard course! Suggest getting t times way ahead of time & finding out when the tournaments are, it was super busy when we went. Highly recommend their tavern burger at the turn, delicious!

Absolutely a great course to play! The weather made it very wet for us but I imagine a great day would be amazing! The course management. Of tee times and pace of play was horrible.
5hr+ round and the carts being “cart path only and shutting off if you weren’t on the cart path was the most annoying part of the round

It was very enjoyable but not with today’s pace of play.

Walking 70 yards to a ball and having to walk back made us and other players have 5 teams on one par three….

Overall we’d come back on a different day and probably get a better experience but not today.

Worst golf experience in 40 years of playing. First, let me say that the course itself is nice. However, I showed up to find that they had closed the 1st hole (not disclosed when I made the tee time), yet they still were charging the full $71 rate w/cart. Second, the course was extraordinarily wet, which was odd given that it has been sunny and hot for four consecutive days. Worst of all, it took us 2 hours to complete 6 holes. We had two groups waiting on the tee on almost every hole. Clearly they had nobody out on the course trying to move people along. We gave up after 6 holes, and I asked for a rain check, but they refused. I don't think they quite understand that golf courses, even municipal ones, should be interested in good customer service. I'll never go back, which is a shame because the course itself is good track.

I have a really hard time writing this review. I first played KP in 2022 and it was among the nicest, most well kept courses I'd ever played up until that point. After that round I could have given it 5 stars but my experience has been far from that lately. While anyone can understand the need for construction and that there's never a perfect time for it to be done on a golf course, it's hard for me to wrap my head around paying full price for less than a full round of golf. Going into my latest round we got to the course and was informed after paying that the course was cart path only and a hole would be closed. Cool. With no starter in sight teeing off was first come first served. Ok, I guess? Throughout our round we were met with dozens of roped off repair patches scattered across each fairway and tee boxes that hadn't been mowed. The hole placement was challenging, every one felt like it was placed on a slope, making putting even the closest of putts a real treat! Our pace of play was abysmal. Not a single ranger seen in a FIVE AND A HALF HOUR ROUND. Now, 25 minutes of that can be attributed to a passing shower but don't worry, the beverage cart was finally coming out onto the course... When we hit the 18th hole. Cool cool cool. I will eventually give this course another shot but it won't be for a bit while they finish whatever construction they need to do. I really hope my experience will be better next time. Also, to all these courses charging cart fees, figure it out and stop gouging your player base. $20 each to ride around in a cart that stops me from driving on the cart path you designed is garbage and is starting to make golf way more expensive than it already is. Do better.

70+ dollars for a course in okay condition, a hole closed, and no one enforcing pace of play is ridiculous.

I understand the construction, but lower the cost if doing so. Also list the cart price in the online booking so people have an idea.
