I've come here 2 years in a row now with my kids on a school field trip. It's very impressive how they put together a miniature town with businesses, town responsibilities, even a judge and sanitation. There's a radio station, a news station, newspaper, veterinarian, rotary club, and a ton of other businesses that the kids can work at. We were only here for a day, but learning how to set budgets, pay bills, collect debts, and run a business in a town is done through well planned and organized instruction after which the kids take over and run the place. They even have custom software set for all the businesses where they can do online bill pay between each other as well as run their business. Very impressive! The staff Is kind, thorough, and patient. This is an impressive educational opportunity, from the one day field trip to the weeklong business exercise. Highly recommended!!

Highly recommended for kids to experience a taste of the future. Fun atmosphere, banking and life tasks that are fun to do hands-on. Every school should have the opportunity to have the kids experience this fun learning adventure.

Kids field trip in Biz Town San Diego. Kids and Parent volunteers had excellent time. An awesome exposure for kids about corporate world. All most real time experience for kids, for doing various kinds of jobs. Banking, News, City Hall, dentist etc.

So much fun went as a parent volunteer with Harriet Tubman. If your school has not gone this is MUST to do learning experience. Your school will prep the students for real life on the job activities. Such an amazing place to have for children here in San Diego ☺️

My teen went to a summer JA course and said it was a big nothing burger. She said they don't really do much and came home with negligible financial literacy skills. But you pay for the course so they are making money but kids aren't getting anything in return.

the staff are super nice and helpful, along side with the volunteers. the jobs arent hard and are super fun especially when you have ur friends working w u. i honestly loved it it was a fun field trip for my school n me i would love to go again
